For the single time of use I will say how smooth and healthy my skin was the next morning. I didn't really know if there would be much difference in only one use but boy there was. I like that the product has a tint to it...it allows you to see where you are applying it and how much. I left it on for only 10 minutes and there was a "tingle" I would describe it. Not irritating at all...just a knowledge that it was working it's magic. I only used the marula oil after and went to bed and felt like that was enough. The next morning my skin was well hydrated and had a very smooth healthy glow to it. I did not break out after or have any additional sensitivities from the use. I believe if your skin is not sensitive you could use this easily once a week as it is suggested. I appreciate that DE provides the opportunity to purchase this in a midi size so you can see if this is something you want to add to your skincare routine. I don't know why I was so scared to use it, maybe all the reviews of it burning really bad, but for me, it did not. You don't need this if you have smooth skin, which is probably the reason for all the reviews that states it burns. It's not doing or removing anything but fresh skin if your skin is already smooth, hence the burn. If you don't have any dead skin layers, it's of course doing to burn. I was expecting a little bit of a punch. For the price, it was disappointing unfortunately. My face just felt a little flushed afterwards. This was my first time using any kind of acid peel as well. I did use argan oil on my face afterwards. I think this would be perfect for people with sensitive skin with minor skin concerns and just want some beauty, feel good thing to do for themselves. I appreciate that it is unscented though. I kind of feel like this brand is targeted more for late teens, which is sad because if you don't have acne or anything, there is no need for this type of stuff. Overall, my skin feels less soft than when I use an exfoliating scrub, but if you want to do something fun and gentle for yourself, go for it! Please keep in mind that everyone's skin is different though! Also, I did actually purchase this item with no incentive or free gift in return.
