Pros: it blends in nicely and very quickly, leaves literally zero white cast, didn't clog my pores/break me out, was fairly affordable, is reef safe, has a pretty blue color to it, and I LOVED the pump dispenser which made the application experience so much easier and cleaner than most SPFs I've tried. Cons: burned my eyes badly when I sweat, needed frequent reapplication, and most importantly, although it blended in nicely, it felt VERY greasy on my skin (upon application and after rubbing it in), even when applied on freshly cleansed skin in the am. Of course there's no such thing as any mineral sunscreen that feels weightless- you can always tell it's on you since mineral SPFs are a physical sunscreen- but this one felt particularly greasy on my face, like one of those sunscreens your mom used to slather all over you before a pool day as a kid lol. This is always a big factor for me in choosing an SPF, so unfortunately I probably won't be reordering. Overall it holds up to most of its claims and would probably work really well for you if you have dry/combination/acne-prone skin!Most Helpful Critical Reviewnot the besti'm someone with very dry skin due to tretinoin, and i have super duper acne prone skin. i also have hyperpigmentation and slight redness, as well as textured skin. while this sunscreen didn't break me out, the formula is definitely not breathable imo. it pills up very easily if you have hair on your face, and also if you skin isn't super hydrated or moisturized, this sunscreen will not work for you. if you use serums in the morning or thick moisturizers, this sunscreen will make everything pill up into a mess on ur face. this sunscreen has a white caste on me, though it goes away throughout the day. the pump has never worked for me at ALL (mind u i have used and emptied out 4-5 bottles of this sunscreen), so i have to open it up in order to get product out, which is very inconvenient. sometimes the sunscreen has it's good days and applies perfectly on my face, and other days it doesn't and it'll pill up near my nose or lips. the only reason i have been using it for this long is because i have hyperpigmentation and i know no other mineral sunscreen that doesn't break me out. this formula can be very chalky and make you hate the way your skin looks.Reviewed by 614 customersBe cautious1Shelby from ChicagoI have acne prone, oily skin and very rarely experience reactions to products. Im not the biggest fan of the applicator, sometimes you have to pump a lot for it to come out. The biggest no from me is that this stings so bad when it gets in your eyes. Im always on the hunt for the best mineral sunscreen and i think this is my new favorite! Ive got type 1 and 2 rosacea and not only does this nor irrate it, but it also helps neutralize some of the redness. The only thing i dont really like about this sunscreen is that it is a bit tacky/sticky feeling and so i feel like it can rub off easily. BUT it doesnt pill like other sunscreens and that is a HUGE pro in my book and makes it worth it. Also, and this may just be a manufacture error/faulty product design, but thw pump stopped working after a couple of days of using. Luckily the pump can be unscrewed but it is a slight annoyance. I'm a fair red head with sensitive acne prone skin that's dry. It's not grainy like a lot of sunscreens, making it very easy to blend to the skin. I live in central Texas and it's dry and the sun UV index is also super high, and I have to wear sunscreen or I'd fry like bacon. I use this with moisturizer underneath every day, and it wears well under my Estée Lauder foundation. Not scented. It will look so nice for three hours. After that, my face will begin to feel tight and itchy from being so unbelievably dry. The only way to make it better is to wash my face and start over. Will not be repurchasing.
