I picked this up as an impulse buy from my local Ulta, and it has turned out to be one of my better impulse purchases. The jar is deceptively heavy, as I found the texture of the powder to be light and smooth. I mixed this up in a small glass bowl, using measuring spoons to be sure the ratio was as accurate as possible [I have one of those little 'Dash, Pinch, Smidgen, Nip' sets - I used the 'Dash' since I only intended to apply to half of my face to test it out] Upon mixing up this mask I found that the 3 to 1 ratio led to a thick but smooth consistency, almost like as 'non-Newtonian fluid'. I was somewhat dismayed at how little mask there appeared to be, based on the amount of powder I'd added; However, my concerns were eased as soon as I started to brush it on. It spread easily using the brush, and there was enough mask for my purposes. I will say that immediately after applying it felt like a really thin layer, but once it started to dry it became clear that 'a little goes a long way'. A thin layer dried in perfect alignment with the 5-minute dry time listed on the packaging. When it came to removal, I was able to easily and quickly wipe away the mask with a damp muslin cloth. The mask left half of my face feeling noticeably softer and smoother than the side I'd not applied it to, which made the little effort required completely worth it. I'm definitely looking forward to adding this to my weekly skincare routine and using it again. I did deduct one star from this product, because I think the included brush can be improved on. It seemed like a fair amount of the mask clung in the thick bristles of the brush and didn't transfer to my face, which would have meant even more coverage from a small amount of product. This mask may benefit more from either a thinner brush or silicone spatula type applicator. On the whole I really like this product, and I can certainly see it being a permanent addition to my skin care regimen.
The packaging is nice and has the feeling of a good product (not flimsy packaging in the more inexpensive products). However, compared to other mask products I've tried, this product is more of a hassle to deal with due to the prep process. The product comes with the jar of powder, and a small facial brush to brush on the mask. The amount of powder seems sufficient for plenty of applications (depending on how much powder you use, of course). The hassle I mentioned is due to it not coming with a container to mix the powder and water, therefore, having you try to find your own. Also, it didn't come with a measuring spoon for the powder, which I would have liked to see. The directions tell you to mix 3 parts powder with 1 part warm water, but these measurements can widely range from person to person. When using for the first time, you are left just guessing how much to mix, which could be wasteful if you use too much. When mixing, the consistency is more on the liquidy side, and may have you thinking you haven't mixed in enough powder, when you have. The application of the product is fine. It goes on in a bubbly way, instead of like a paste or mud texture mask would. It does dry like a normal mask would. I'm not really sure what the benefits actually are from owning this product, as it's too early to tell, but I do want to mention that it is a strong formula vs other masks I've tried. I haven't had any sensitive skin symptoms with any facial products I have ever used, but I did with this one. I used the regular 3 parts of powder and left the mask on for a couple minutes more than usual, and most of my face was red like it had been sunburned. I could see the outlines from where I applied the product. And it actually felt a bit burned after I removed the product. Usually when you leave a mask on for a bit, it doesn't overdo anything, but this product did, so just beware when using this, to do a patch test with 1 part powder as a requirement for all skin types, vs just a suggestion. Thankfully, a few hours later, the redness subsided. I think it's pertinent that this product include an insert indicating the precautions clearly and thoroughly when using this product. I received this product for free in return for a review. I can't say that I would personally purchase this product in the future. The mask states it's to clarify and hydrate, but I think there are much simpler ways and less risky products to get the same treatment. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it to friends/family.

I got this product free from ulta as a sample. I thought it was going to be so good… left it on for not even 5 minutes and a huge rash is on my face just like others has noted. What a terrible product do not even attempt to use this..

Tried a sample of this powder mask that I received from Ulta, and it burned my face. I could feel tingling as the mask dried but didn't realize it was an allergic reaction. It's been 30 minutes since washing my face (twice) and it looks like I got an awful sunburn in all the spots I applied it.

I received this as a sample and I just used it and my face is red like a sunburn and warm feeling. I started to feel pulsating a few minutes after I applied it. I don't have sensitive skin whatsoever. Hopefully the redness goes away soon…?

My skin is pretty tough, not sensitive to most things. But this mask burned my face bright red like an awful sunburn. I would definitely test a patch before using. This product needs more testing. Yikes!

My skin isn't generally sensitive to most products. I received a sample of this product and used just this and 1 min after I took it off I got an allergic reaction. Everywhere I put the mask on turned red. My face feels numb and warm. If you want to try this product definitely do a test first. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone and it didn't even seem to make my skin glow other than red

I wanted to like this product truly, I'm a big fan of juice beauty. However, I had this mask on for only 4 minutes and started to feel throbbing in my nose. When I took it off it looked like I got a really bad sun burn, (felt like it too). Also going to note that it really depends on your skin type whether this mask will work for you or not. I have combo (mostly) dry skin, but I also have acne. So, I thought that this mask would be perfect for me because it's supposed to be hydrating and a clarifying clay mask in one. Didn't really work out like I'd hoped.

I have several masks that I rotate but don't use any 1 consistently. Used this for the 1st time last night & my coworker today asked me specifically if I had used a new product because my skin looked so good! I didn't measure so it was a thin layer.

Honestly I don't super love this mask. It is very messy to mix up and it dries my skin out a lot more than I was expecting. I have mostly dry mature skin, I think this would work much better on someone with oiler skin. I love the clean ingredients! Plus, the sustainable packaging is fabulous - way to go!

I got this present from my daughter on Mother's Day my family and I tried this mask and shortly after it burned very fast my face was completely red and feels like a bad sun burn everyone in my family got there face burned out skin feels dry to this moment happy Mother's Day:/

Not even a few seconds after applying it on my whole face I had this burning sensation. Washed the mask off instantly and my whole face is burnt! It's red and irritated, and on Mother's Day no less. I never had such a bad reaction to a facial mask. Very disappointed

This was the furthest thing from moisturizing. This dried into a painful burning cement on face. My skin usually tolerates anything I throw at it, but my skin burned for hours after I thoroughly removed and cleaned off this mask. This ravaged my skin barrier and I got what my dermatologist called a dermatitis flare up around my nose. Three weeks out and I'm still repairing. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the worst thing I've ever put in my face.

Not sure if I'm even mixing this correctly.. it would be wildly helpful if the product came with a measurement tool to make sure their product is being applied correctly. I think there's too much room for error without providing a measurement tool. I have used it twice and found it messy, and bummed I may have wasted product trying to figure out how to use it. I personally felt no tingling sensations, although that's not unusual as medical peels don't cause me too much discomfort. The smell is very lovely & I love juice beauty products! I will most likely return this one though.

My experience using Juice Beauty Revitalizing Acacia + Rose Powder Mask was bittersweet. I like the idea of mixing the powdered mask yourself but opening the jar can be a messy at first. The packaging is beautiful, I can use the lid of this jar to mix the correct ratio of this mask. I left the mask on for ten minutes, it's easy to rinse off and my skin felt so soft. This mask is made with certified organic ingredient, that will have you face feeling detoxified with an amazing glow. I recommend this mask to anyone who enjoy using organic based masks and practice self-care.

Once I got the hang of mixing it myself, I found this mask to be excellent. It leaves my skin feeling so refreshed and smooth, and it looks great for days after using it. And the fact that it's a powder means that it should stay fresh for so much longer than the premixed masks. Such a win!

I absolutely loved this product. Easy to apply abs skin feels rejuvenated and refurbished after using. I highly recommend everyone to try. Natural and smells so good.

This mask had some nice benefits after using a handful of times. Made my skin complexion shine and less irritated. It can be a little in the messy side but I do like the application process with the brush provided. It makes a cute spa night with friends!

I love the packaging on this mask and all of the really unique attributes the ingredients give to your skin

I love that you can actually mix the product yourself. I prefer more of a paste than the thin liquid. I followed the directions the first time and while it felt nice, I wanted it a little thicker. It leaves my skin glowing and soft and even though I have sensitive skin, it did not make me break out or turn red. I will definitely get this again!

I received this complimentary from BzzAgent for review purposes. This mask is in a powder form that you have to mix with water to create a paste that you then put on. It is too much of a hassle to use. Sure it makes my skin feel slightly cleaner and brighter but it is not worth the effort to me. The powder is super fine and just disperses everywhere. Not a fan, will not repurchase. Will struggle to finish up the product since there's a lot of powder,
