This is not your typical heavily sweet, candy scented perfume. It is a well balanced mixture of sensual, warm, smokey and deep floral notes that I would recommend wearing at night, specifically during fall and winter months. It's more of a strong, confident and bold in your face statement perfume, not for every day casual perfume wearer, but more for the risk takers. I disagree that it smells like "old-lady" perfume. If you like " by the fireplace " by Replica, the original Dolce & Gabana that comes in red box, Bath and Body Works "Sweater Weather" or "COCO" by Chanel, then you'll love wearing this mysterious and sultry fragrance.Most Helpful Critical ReviewSmells Faintly of Hamster Cage, arrived in opened boxI love Amber scents but this one isn't it. Also, ULTA shipped me what seemed to be an already returned product- the box was not sealed, was damaged, and the free travel spray it arrived with was also opened and most definitely used. If I loved the perfume, I would have overlooked the condition it arrived in, but alas. First spray, I'm immediately reminded of the cedar shavings that line a hamsters cage, not amber. It is not a sweet or gourmand scent. This perfume is more musty, I mean musky, than anything. The projection is miniscule, literally have my nose to my wrist as in writing this review because otherwise I cannot smell it. I thought I would love this, especially after reading all of the wonderful reviews. Nonetheless, I'm definitely returning this. It just smells like... an old lady? It reminds me of a perfume my elderly aunt would wear or like something my mother would've worn when I was a child. The sweet/vanilla notes are far too faint as well. And to boot? It's lasting power sucks! It's been on my wrists for not even 2 hours and the more subtle or accenting notes are gone and you're just left with this "spiced alcohol" scent. It has notes of cedar, amber, and vanilla, but everything blends so well together that you really can't pick out one note over the other.
