I have loved every Buxom lip product I have ever tried and this Power Line Plumping Lip Liner is no exception. I was extremely impressed with the product. It's multipurpose packaging with the liner on one side and a built in brush for blending and smoothing on the other was especially convenient. The liner has a perfectly chiseled tip that allowed for flawlessly precise and versatile application providing great definition yet requires no need to be sharpened. The creamy formulation also aided with the application process as there was no tugging and felt very comfortable on my lips. The product glided on smoothly and is highly pigmented providing full coverage but can also be buildable depending on your preference. It was long wearing and waterproof so no bleeding or transferring occurred. I especially loved this aspect considering I'm an RN that wears a mask all day which is usually where half of my makeup ends up at the end of my shift. Most importantly the product was hydrating and plumping thanks to the peptides, vitamin E, & sunflower seed and avocado oil. I love brands that use clean ingredients and exclude ones that are not. Which reminds me that this liner is free if parabens, petroleum, and mineral oil. The only small downfalls are that it could be a little pricey for those on a budget as it is approximately $18 for 0.3 grams of product. Also, from what I have seen there are only 10 shades available (only 2 being semi neutral ones). I would like to see more shade options especially those more neutral friendly and for those that are on a budget I would definitely say it's worth the splurge. I recommend this to all lip color and lip plumper lovers out there!!
I received the BUXOM COSMETICS Power Line Plumping Lip Liner from BzzAgent and I've never tried Buxom cosmetics before. First off the packaging is nice and simple. Nothing too fancy. Straight to the point sort of package. The color I received is Dangerous Dolly. And I love the color. It's super cute, not too dark not too light. You can wear it everyday for work, home, church. Secondly, the dual end brush sort of through me in a loop as I have never tried such a product like this. I was a bit sketchy at first but after trying it I have to say it was really nice. It smooths out the liner very nicely and softly over your lips making them look like you added some lipstick. The quality of this lip liner is just wonderful all around. However the downside was that the plumping effect.......I don't see it. So if you are looking for a plumping effect like tingling this is not the Lippy for you. If you want to only carry 1 product with you for your lips and not 2 such as lipstick AND the liner then this is your gal! Overall I was pleased with the liner and the choice of color selected for me.

I loved the older product that was a thicker, more durable, pencil. This newer version, is very delicate and continuously breaks when I try to use it, wasting product and money. I never over extend the tip or press to firmly. Bottom line, while the colors are lovely, the design is flawed. Please bring back the older version which was a much nicer product to use. Until then, I will look for a better product.

I have the color Hush Hush Henna and I love it. Really pretty pinky nude that is a little deeper. Makes a good companion to a lip gloss. I wear it with my lighter nude lipsticks that are too nude to worn on their own. It really brings them to a wearable place. The liner lasts for long time. I put it on in the morning before work, around 7:30am and at lunch, I had to take it off on my own to eat. The I reapplied after lunch and it was still going strong when I got home at the end of the night, around 6pm. The shape of the liner is really great too. Easy to apply. This is a twist up, but it isn't stiff. It is still soft enough to go on smoothly. Overall, I think it's a great lip liner.

Look.I was 2 wks away from lip.injectons. I paired this with the Plump Shot lipgloss. And baby this kept my lips full almost an entire day!! Even after it wiped off my lips stayed full FOR HOURS.. and I know this because I have a middle of the lip piercing and my lips were snug against. And that usually is not the case. I'm going to keep using this until it stops working ...as I age the lines in my lips are driving me crazy... This smoothed them out and kept them smooth...IM IN LOVE ❤️ The collagen Is a added bonus... truly s Game Changer.

Why charge so much for a misleading product? I have been duped, betrayed, and taken advantage of. I spent 21 dollars on a lip liner that instantly dries my lips like it was chalk and neither plumps or stays on. Buxom I will never buy from u again.

Ripoff for the price! The lipliner crayon is about an inch long.

I love this liner which I also wear as a stand alone product. Not only is it a liner, the other end has a brush to even it all out. You can't go wrong with Buxom!

You make the x at the lip bow and line away. The color is gorgeous and so natural

I personally really like it. Its like an everyday wear lip color depending on the color you choose . I have Hush Hush Henna Its like an everyday wear lip color and I also have Powerful Plum which is nice to wear during the fall.

I like it! One of my favorite lines, no need to sharpen and the teardrop shape makes it easy to apply.
My only con is that it isn't very pigminted and j have to go over my lips like 2-3 times? Also, if I had a lip balm to moisturize my lips i have to remove the bits around my lip line or else it wont really mix well.
Honestly though, beautiful color, I dont really notice anh plumping, but its way more than that.

The formula was nice and the color was pretty but i literally used it about five times and there was no more product left. Total ripoff

The applicator it comes in gives the amount of product you'd expect to find in kids makeup. This is an incredible downgrade to their lip pencil. I've used Buxom since I was 15 and I will now never buy from them again.

Weak and wobbly compared to the original. Whats wrong with an actual pencil that doesnt require plastic! You cannot roll the pencil out on the lower lip to blend. Why? Its not even round anymore and its not stable enough to make a big sweep. Loved the original. This is grocery store quality cosmetics.

Ive used two of these. The first was great, if extremely expensive for an inch of product and stupid packaging: an oversized plastic case with a useless brush on one end. But the color is good and it wears well, doesnt feather, goes on with a sharp line. The second was differentit was dry and wouldnt come off the pencil onto the lip. And I am always careful to put the cap back on. It broke twice, basically not usable, so total rip-off. Unfortunately I just bought two more on sale.

I feel so duped! I bought three, and all three are awful!! They're so dry; they're incredibly blotchy and inconsistent where they fill in; they start crumbling and flaking off almost immediately. They're just the worst lip liners I have ever used, and I'm 54 years old. They're truly awful!

I purchased Recharged Berry, along with two other colors, during the 50% Off sale and was excited to try them. The only thing I liked about this liner was the color. The retractable liner with blurring brush is a nice concept, but the formula doesn't glide on smooth and the liner is too thin to suuport itself and ended up breaking off (as other reviews mentioned)! The texture is also a bit chalky and not easy to apply. I returned all three liners and only gave it one star for the pretty color. I do not recommend these liners.

I still have my old Buxom plumpline lip liner that I got years ago. It had a net weight of 2.1g. The new plumping lip liner has a net weight of 0.3g. The price was the same approximately back then and now. I've already run out of the new product. The new product does not stay on as long as the old one. Doesn't make sense to buy it again when I can get the same quality from NYX or e.l.f.
Rae from Albuquerque, NM
I love this color! It gives color but in a natural way. For me, I like that. Its like I have beautiful colored lips but not I just put lipstick on look.
AMJ from Wisconsin
I truly like this lipliner. I bought it during the 21 days of beauty sake and I truly think it was worth the discounted price. I don't know if I will purchase this again at full price, but I truly like the colors I bought and I think I will get a lot of use out of them. These are creamy, easy to use, and feel comfortable on the lips. They lasted fairly long, even with a lipgloss over top.
Brigette from Texas
It's suppose to be a plumping lip liner.. but didn't do any plumping. It's just a regular lip liner, pretty shades, but Absolutely No plumping.
