Full disclosure: I got this free in exchange for a review, but, again, I would consider purchasing this product when I've finished itÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩthere's just one aspect I don't like and I'll talk about that at the end. I love the smell of this dry shampoo, and I'm picky about scents in general, and I'm also sensitive to scents that linger. This smells fresh and clean without smelling medicinal, and it does linger in the hair if I put my nose in my hair and inhale, but it's not a perfume so it doesn't waft off of me after use. I used it a couple different ways, and each one works wonderfully: as dry shampoo on 2nd, 3rd, and ahem, 5th day hair. I used it to add volume to the body of my hair after I curled it. And I used it before I curled my hair as a hairspray alternative. My hair doesn't feel dirty after using it, and it doesn't leave a white residue either. The only thing I don't like is that it's an aerosol dry shampoo. I prefer more environmentally friendly alternatives, like their texture powder. But even so, it's so good I would consider purchasing despite the aerosol because it's literally everything I've been looking for in a dry shampoo and haven't been able to find.
I am a Living Proof dry shampoo loyalist and after seeing everyone go Gaga over how great Verb products are, I was super excited to try this one! I loved the lovely, mild scent but when I used the suggested amount of product it just wasn't enough to absorb all of the oil on my scalp or to give volume. So I sprayed some more & it still wasn't enough! Then I used Verb Texture Powder as well, while it then got better I couldn't help but feel extremely uncomfortable with how the products made my hair feel. Though it did add some volume, my hair felt plastic-y and flat and I couldn't wait to wash it off! But then, when I had less oil I tried only this dry texture spray and it wasn't all that bad, but I don't think I will recommend this, as the plastic feel was still there..

I have thicker medium length, blonde treated, partially wavy hair. I use this product all the time and have repruchased several times! I will spray few burst about 6 inches from hair throughout & near my root then tousle w/ hands. Great for messy buns, braids, heat applied curls or just to add some texture/grip to super clean hair. It seems if you have fine hair, application may be too heavy for some. People seem to rate product more poorly due to user error vs an accurate reflection of products intended purpose. This is not a hair spray, it's a Volumizing Texture Spray, and does just that! I brush my hair really well every night before bed and use Verb Ghost Oil on mid/ends and this product has never left my hair feeling gross, heavy or gritty, rather allowing hair to be more manageable, easier to styled and tamed and allows a nice hold alone or with hairspray. Outstanding texture spray, a must try!!!

I got a short layered haircut and needed something to help add texture to my hair so the layers can be seen and my straight hair doesn't look so blah with the haircut. I really wanted this to work for me, but it did nothing but act as a drugstore hairspray. When I use it, it gives me the crunchy drugstore hairspray feeling. It adds texture for a little bit, but then it just ends up all falling out an hour or two later. I'm disappointed because this has great reviews, will have to try something else.

I have fine hair, and this product product weighs down my hair. It left my hair too "gritty" and no volume. I've been looking for a replacement for The One and Then Some by Fekkai, and haven't had any luck. The new Frederick Fekkai volume spray is not a good replacement either.

Love love love ! I recently got a hair cut & I had no idea how to style it once at home! Went in to ultra and asked for help the hair dresser hsnddd me this bottle and I'm so glad she did! Works wonders :)

My hairstylist used this on my hair and after I went home I asked her what she used because my hair NEVER holds curl and even after running a comb though it, it's STILL there! Even the next morning! She told me she used the Verb texture spray. I immediately went out and got it! It's my holy grail for fine hair!

I had a significant amount of hair cut off and needed something to help show off my new layers and give me some lift. This seemed perfect, but despite me having inches-shorter hair and using the same shampoo & conditioner and fewer heat tools, my hair is dryer and almost strawlike after using this. I should have paid attention to denatured alcohol being so high in the ingredients list.

I've used it a few times since purchasing. I follow the directions on the bottle. I've noticed absolutely no difference in volume. Bummer.

My hair stylist used this on my hair one day and I thought I'd buy a bottle. Wow! It's been a game changer for my fine, thin hair. It, not only, doesn't cause greasiness, it actually prevents it. The fullness lasts all day and refreshes when I rub my fingers through the roots. Amazingly, it doesn't dull my hair's shininess either. I don't do my hair without this stuff anymore. Thank you, Verb!

I've always had flat fine hair. But turning 50, it started falling out! It's even more thin now so texture spray and dry volume spray are essential i'm a product junkie and I have tried so many, this one does it all w/o making my hair dull and "too" full of product.

Love this stuff, my hair is super fine and it doesn't make it feel too heavy or crunchy!

By far the best texture spray on the market. I have fine hair and often get blowouts with waves, where the stylists never put much hairspray on, not realizing how quickly my hair loses curl. I go home and spray on this texturizing spray, and it works: with the hold of a hairspray (with none of the crunch!) but truly texturizes while also giving volume. I am the type of person who continually tries new products types even when I have found one I love - but that is not how I am doing it with texturizing spray. This is the only one I use, as long as it's made! I recommend to everyone with any type of hair!

I truly love this product and don't understand why people are having so much trouble with this! You need to work this product into your hair if you're using it for volume. You can't spray it at the root and leave it. I have found that working it in with my fingers and/or running a comb lightly through it eliminates any crunch or dryness. I have tried other volume sprays but they don't do anything or hold bc they don't have the grit. Depends on what you're looking for I guess but if you want root volume, this is a great product for that!

Not sure exactly what this should be doing. Seems like a light hair spray. Will not repurchase.

I was looking for a spray wax. The one I always purchased is no longer. Was the best. This product leaves a very dry sand like feel to my hair.

I have finally found a product that will hold my curls! I have tried multiple products and nothing compares to this. This actually does what it says. I can still run my fingers through my hair, smells good and doesn't make my hair stiff.

I will be returning this product. It makes my hair extremely dry and ratty. I usually use Living Proof but was trying to save a buck.

this product is great for adding volume before teasing or before curling your hair. it gives extra body and grit without being "crunchy". all though i have no used any other dry texture products, i love this one since i have got it as well it's a lot for the price!

I have normal to fine hair that is straight as an arrow and flat. My roots get greasy pretty easily and I wanted something that would give my hair some grit and volume and maybe even extend my wash a day or two. I applied this on day 2 hair and it's almost like I sprayed olive oil on my hair. Like there was next to no grit, definitely no volume, and my hair was so greasy I had to wash it after a couple hours of seeing if it would dry down. I used as directed, a full arms length away and only a little at a time. Definitely returning this and I have no clue what I'm doing wrong because this has great reviews but I really hated this

First time trying Verb. Love this! I also ordered the hairspray- both light & extra hold. Love!

I've heard lots of good things about this brand and was in the market for a texture spray and settled on this. Every time I used this product, my hair felt AND LOOKED like I just sprayed humidity into my hair. I do live in a humid area but my hair would've looked 100x better if I just hadn't used this product.

Needed a texture spray and randomly picked one that wasn't too expensive. I LOVE this spray. Doesn't smell horrible, doesn't leave my hair crunchy, just perfect volume and helps with the frizz. I'm writing this review as I add another one to my cart!

I have super thin hair and it always just kind of hangs there. This stuff is AMAZING, it leaves a texture on my hair almost like dry shampoo but in a good way and not just at the roots. It's like a great mix between dry shampoo not for your roots and hairspray, it keeps my hair looking volumized and keeps it where I want it to stay.

I like verb products but NOT this one. Left my hair soooo dry, felt and looked like straw. It definitely has the grit but if you have dry hair at all, stay away from this product. Note, it does leave a film on hair too. I ended up tossing the entire thing in the trash

I found this product through my hairstylist! She uses Verb products and I absolutely love the smell of this one! This adds a nice texture and has a good hold for waves in my long hair. I don't think it would hold all day for curls but it's perfect for waves. I've also used it to help hold together a top knot!
