I received La Roche-Posay Anthelios HA Sunscreen Daily Moisturizing Cream for free in exchange for my honest review. I used it for a 2 full weeks before posting this review. For the first few days, it absorbed well but within a few hours my skin felt somewhat oily, even being in the climate-controlled house. That said, I'm glad I gave it a chance because after 4 days, my skin adjusted and was no longer oily. I've used it both alone and under foundation and am pleased with both results. That said, I'm not sure that this will work for me on hot summer days because of my oily tendencies. This is not a new phenomenon to me -- I've always had to use 2 different moisturizers, one for cold/dry months and one during the heat of the summer. If you don't have oily tendencies, I would recommend this moisturizer year-round. I, myself, would not hesitate to purchase this moisturizer for the Winter/Fall. In fact, I may replace my current Winter moisturizer with La Roche because I really like that it includes SPF30, eliminating a skin care product from my regiment. I would recommend this moisturizer to anyone who isn't extremely oily, as long as you give your skin a change to adjust. PROS: Did not make me break out or irritate my skin sensitive skin at all. Absorbed well. Did not make me oily during normal weather after my skin adjusted. Very moisturizing with SPF for those with normal/combination skin. CONS: May make you oily during hot months if that's your tendency. TIP: If you have a tendency to become oily, don't give up on this moisturizer after just a few days. My skin adjusted very nicely after about 4 days in the Springtime.
I'm Black and wanted to try this product because everyone raves about mineral sunscreen being better than chemical. It leaves a cast. The consistency is thick. Kind of like toothpaste but not gritty. It does protect the skin and has a blurring effect. If you have fitz skin 1 and 2 i believe this product will be just fine. If you are darker than a 3 it may leave a cast. The product was not irritating at all and actually felt like a clay mask when first applied. It does protect the skin. My favorite sunscreen is actually the cooling gel 60 and the mexoryl spf 15. Yes, they are chemicals but they encourage people like me to wear sun protection with out the cast. I would not repurchase this sunscreen BUT if you like mineral sunscreen and are very light give it a try.

I like this sunscreen for days inside where im not too worried about reapplying. This sunscreen feels great on the skin once rubbed in, but its a workout to do so. I'd give this more stars if it wasnt so hard to rub in, which is why i use it on days I'm inside. It also gives a slight white cast but it does go away quickly. Otherwise, it's very moisturizing and doesnt feel tight on my dry skin even if i forget moisturizer underneath.

I would not at all recommend. This product is heavy and goes on completely white. I want to wash my face the moment I put this on.

I really enjoy this product. It is not greasy, applies very smoothly and evenly, and i have noticed that my very dry and sensitive skin has improved in hydration and texture after using this product for about 4 weeks. I am giving it 4 stars because of the white cast. I cannot wear it alone. Overall this is fine since I wear some sort of base daily, but I would love a tinted version of this!

I like the product don't need a lot if too much is used it will leave a white shade that's the only thing I don't like but keep in mind that it's also have sunscreen maybe that's why it's white . I will keep using it. Since I use less products.

This is a great sunscreen. It can be applied as a morning moisturizer. However, the product is very thick when rubbing in and does leave a white cast. It does evebtyally soak in but does make me look paler. Doesnt clog my pores. Still love it!

The white cast this leaves is so bad its almost impossible to fully rub in and then if you sweat it sweats off completley white. Its a nice light consistency and doesnt burn if it gets in the eyes which is good but the white cast makes it not worth it considering how many other SPF options tbere are.

This is very thick and leaves a white cast on your face. I think it eventually fades, but takes several minutes. It does seem to get the job done though.

I love this sunscreen! I really like how it's a moisturizer as well so I don't have to put too much product on my face. It does leave a little bit of a white cast, but if you rub it in really well you can barely notice it. I recommend this product.

Goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. Mineral sunblock is the best protection. A

I was searching for a replacement for the discontinued Anthelios SX daily miosturizing Cream with sunscreen SPF 15, which I'm so sad is no longer available. This cream does not compare, it is more like a sunscreen than a moisturizer; it's very thick and leaves a white hue to my face.

This daily moisturizer/sunscreen combination didn't live up to the hype! It feels thick and leaves my face greasy or gives it a sticky feeling. You do need to rub it in well to get rid of the white cast that settles fairly quickly into my wrinkles and fine lines. Overall, I am not happy with La Roche Posey Anthelios sunscreen. I do like that it provides some coverage and sun protection with the added benefit of a moisturizer, however I don't like the fact that I have to bring my rice papers to blot my face with me when I use this moisturizer/SPF and for the price, I wouldn't purchase in the future.

How I used this product: I love to spend time outside, relaxing, swimming, biking...so I need a good sunscreen that will be kind to my skin. My face tends to be a bit sensitive so it can be tricky finding a product that works well and does not cause any issues. The La Roche Posay Anthelios HA Sunscreen was just what I needed. I usually use Banana Boat Mineral Baby Sunscreen Lotion for my face but it is so thick. The La Roche product works just as good but goes on more easily. It is much more expensive but I think it is worth it. I'm really trying to start treating my skin better, and this product is a great part of that plan. I can use this product under makeup or just all alone. It has no notable scent - that's something I prefer - I don't like to always smell like sunscreen just because I'm trying to shield my skin from harmful rays. Things I Love: protects skin just like I need, no smell, goes on smooth and disappears into the skin, no burning or other skin reactions, versatile to wear alone or with makeup, perfect pump dispenser Things I Don't Love: the price, but your skin is worth it!!

Excellent, my skin is somewhat dry for seasons but now in summer it is oily and what better than a good sunscreen that does not make you generate more fat on your skin and protects you

This sunscreen is FANTASTIC. It seems thick at first but rubs in easily and feels light. The scent is so light it's almost non-existent. It wears well under makeup and does it's job with the sun protection. Absolutely would recommend

I think this product works well as a sunscreen but I was not happy about the look after it was applied. I felt like it took forever to rub into my face. If not rubbed in enough than you're left with white streaks on your face. However, it did a good job protecting my skin and kept it moisturized. I would go out of my way to buy I but a good option.

It wears well by itself or under makeup without feeling sticky or oily. It does leave a white cast that was only visible up close. It's not very noticeable on fair skin, but I'd worry about it showing if you have tan or darker skin tone.

I like this sunscreen as a daily use. It's easy to apply, lightweight and non greasy but the product is on the thick consistency side. Since it's a mineral sunscreen; when applying it to my face, it leaves a white film residue that takes a little while to absorbs into skin. I use the sunscreen with or without makeup and it works on sensitive skin like mine. Overall yes I would repurchase again!

I gave it a couple of tries and it left a think white film. I tried using less but still got a white film.

This product is lightweight yet provides great coverage. I used it on a girls weekend where we were outside all day and stayed protected the entire day! I put it on under my makeup and I like that it intent cakey.

Great to use in combination with my moisturizer and foundation.
