I happily discovered Kate Spade New York Eau de Parfum, which is phenomenal! At first I was worried it might not be a match with my body chemistry, but turned out to be perfect! It captured my attention the first time I sprayed it on me and wear it everyday now! The scent is feminine, floral, and fruity, without being too overly sweet and with a soft fresh, and clean scent. The presentation was on point, as it arrived in an appealing typical elegant Kate Spade fashion gift box with cute pink spades all over it, almost as if flowers! The beautiful glass bottle has a pink and gold lid with spades and looks high quality and sofisticated. The glass bottle makes for an attractive display sitting on my vanity, as well. The key notes for the top are strawberry & bergamot, the middle key notes are rose essence & freesia, and base key notes are ambrox & cashmeran. All the scents blend together perfectly and it puts me in an uplifting mood and makes me feel nice! I have also received lots of compliments from my family & strangers, alike while wearing this perfume! My only critique would be, when first sprayed on it's really strong, but then the scent withers downs quickly. However, I noticed the scent tends to last longer if sprayed on my clothing. It would be great wearing for any occasion and great for gift giving, equally.Most Helpful Critical ReviewI absolutely LOVE this scent, BUT...I always buy the travel size before I purchase the full size bottle, just to make sure it will mix well with my chemistry. Well, I had just bought the travel size bottle, (literally had it less than 5 days) I had it in my purse (as I do the same with a couple of other varieties), and low and behold it had broken in my LV bag. None of my other brands have broken, and I had less than 6 sprays of this lovely perfume, and it's gone. The glass is very thin and fragile, and since this is a travel size (hence keeping it in your purse/bag) it should be made more durable.
