For reference, I usually use Elemis's collagen rose cleansing balm as a first cleanse and to remove makeup because I've always been skeptical of oil cleansers on my acne prone skin. I haven't been able to test the makeup removing ability yet or to see if it stings eyes when removing mascara. I knocked one star off purely for the scent; It is a very strong artificial warm pineapple smell that reminds me of the numbing gel they give you at the dentist or alcohol.
