I purchased my bottle at Ulta in the store and while it is a peachy color and has a smell that is neither floral (thank goodness as I am sensitive to perfume) nor herbal, it's just a kind of organic smell, can't really describe it, I would not say it was awful. What I do know is that thankfully it does NOT have aloe in it which everyone seems to think is a miracle cure for skin, but I am allergic to aloe. I was out in the sun too much yesterday at the pool and two applications of this calmed the burn and I woke up with healed skin. No pain, no peeling. I am 59, I have wrinkles, NOTHING is going to erase them, but this really does make my skin smooth and less dry and it's my go to moisturizer and oh, no blackheads, because I still get those and this stuff does not clog my pores. Read the ingredients and you can understand why it smells the way it smells. I am so glad there is no added perfume in this.Most Helpful Critical ReviewI Wish My Skin Loved ThisI was so excited to try the Too Faced Plump & Prime Luxury Face Plumping Primer Serum when I found out I would be receiving it. I love using products that have multiple benefits / uses, and the fact that this product has serum in the name made it really interesting to me. Also, this product has such beautiful packaging! Unfortunately, my skin just doesn't react well to this primer. After the first application of this product and just around 5 hours of wear, I ended up with several new pimples the next morning. I didn't use any other new products so I know this was the cause. I waited a few days and tried it again because I wanted to be sure and I honestly wanted to love this product, but I experienced more breakouts. My skin is very acne prone and combination, so it probably doesn't have this effect on most people's skin but it just doesn't agree with mine. I had to discontinue using this primer for this reason. If you have dry or normal skin, this would probably be an amazing product for you. It felt super moisturizing, lightweight, and comfortable on the skin and left my skin really soft and smooth after application. If it wasn't for the darn breakouts, I would have loved this one! I look and feel refreshed, and hydrated. I noticed my lines are not as noticeable. It does not clog my pores. It makes me look a bit younger and healthy.
