I walked into an ULTA one day (after trying several other mascaras) and asked an associate what they would recommend for a mascara when someone is missing a section of eyelashes. I have no idea how my eyelashes disappeared, but this associate was soooo helpful that she guided me in the direction of this product called NYX ON THE RISE LASH BOOSTER. I asked her what would cause my eyelashes to go missing and we got to talking about me using other mascara product and DING!! some mascaras will cause your eyelashes to fall out! I had no clue as I am NOT a makeup artist or one to wear makeup every. single. day. But dang...I'd love a full set of eyelashes to stand out. This product did the job. Since this product has castor oil (which btw is excellent for this problem) it helped a good section of my eyelashes grow back, it made my lashes long, did not smear like most mascaras do under my eyes, and it went on black just like any mascara does. I'm very pleased with this product and will continue to buy.Most Helpful Critical ReviewNot exactly a primer...I was excited to use this product because I really like the on the rise mascara, but I've tried it three times and it's made my eyelashes super clumpy and messy looking. I thought it was quite interesting how this primer is more of a black/grey color rather than a white or clear. I will say that it does add length to your lashes but it is super tough for me to remove. I still have excess lingering on my lashes still after two days of not having it on at all! I'll stick with my L'Oreal voluminous lash is primer. Wasn't expecting it to be black but was impressed as to how long my lashes looked after using it. I applied two coats of mascara after this and got long separated lashes. I like using this primer on its own on non-makeup days cuz my lashes look natural and feel soft and look fuller now. A must buy!
