I used organic almond shower gel before from a different company that I love, it had a nice almond smell - like pure almonds. I expected higher quality from this product considering the price. However, this shower gel' smell is too strong, even uncomfortable to use it (smell like fake almonds). I called the customer service and didn't get any support, was told that because I opened it, I had to mail it to their warehouse and wait 4weeks to get store credit - not good product, not good customer service so I will never buy anything from this brand again. There are other brands out there that offer organic products and back up their products by great customer service . I am not returning this product because it is too much hassle. If you have a dog, you will associate the scent with wet dog. It cleans very effectively, especially greasy stuff like sunscreen. Skin feels nice and hydrated after. I have semi dry skin and have been struggling for years to find something that will work. I saw this product mentioned by someone online and I came to see reviews and I saw not a single bad review. Naturally, this made me think this product would be AMAZING. I was mistaken. This DOES make your skin soft I will give it that, but it's not enough. You have to use sooooo much product. I've used it sooooo many different ways because I wanted to love it so bad! I used it with my original loofah/bath sponge and it was so disappointing. Still I did not give up on this product. I bought a different type of loofah. Still disappointed. I bought two more different types of sponges. Still disappointed. I tried just using my hands. Still disappointing. I tried shaking the bottle making sure it was mixed well. Still disappointed. I tried letting the product sit for a while. Still disappointed. This product does not lather AT ALL. It gets soaked up or goes through any type of sponge/loofah you use. Yes it will give you soft skin and yes the smell is good, but only if you're willing to use an insane amount of product. I am out of this product after less than 15 uses. That is insane for a product on the (IMO) pricey end. Not sure if I received an item that was just not up to standard, but I'll never know. When I tried to contact them to see if maybe this was just an off experience I went back to my email to find the information and strangely enough my emails with my confirmation number were gone. I never delete emails.
