I got two (the shades cocoa and amber) so I could layer them for a better effect. Let me tell you it makes a world a difference. One pen alone would still look incredible, but getting the two colors and layering them gave the freckles so much depth and made them look really natural. People were shocked when I told them my freckles were drawn on. So as you can imagine, now that there is a freckle pen, I absolutely HAD to try it, to match the other side of my face. Besides vitiligo, I also have rosacea, and of course that's on the side that I don't have freckles, this only looked good when on top of foundation. For myself at least, on my natural skin it almost looked like I was having a break out or a rash. It looks so natural with my complexion and the marker point is perfect for application. I don't wear foundation, only SPF moisturizer, and the freckles stayed on when my skin started to get oily, and even underneath my glasses! I love the shade so I don't think I would try the light or medium. I have some dark freckles on my face so it matches them, but sometimes I will blot them a few seconds after dotting them on to make them less noticeable, or sweep some powder over the top. I haven't had any issues with the pen drying out, but I only use it for a few seconds at a time. I also have not seen the felt tip getting misshapen at all but you don't need to press hard at all. I will keep buying this for sure. The worst part about this product is the felt tip pen! It seems to dry up quickly and become misshapen even when I wasn't applying much pressure in the first place! It creates a dark circle outline and a pale center.
