It has a thick and luxurious feel to it. It does what it says it actually moisturizers my thick curly dry hair. As someone that has always had thick curly dry hair I tend to use Masks sometimes twice a week, However with this mask it actually works on my hair type so I only have to use it once week maybe once every 2 weeks. It does not smell like coconut which is a plus for me because everything that is made for my hair type smells like coconut and you get really tired of smelling coconut all the time it smells like baby oil. Originally I used it in combination with the shampoo and conditioner that goes with it and for the 1st time it worked wonders. I would not recommend using it that way every time. For the 1st time in my life I can say that this product has a tendency to work too well it can make your hair greasy when used in combination with the shampoo and conditioner. If you're like me and you only wash your hair once a week then that would be the time that I would recommend to use the hair mask.Most Helpful Critical ReviewLeft my hair very heavyI received this complimentary item in exchange for my honest feedback from PinchMe. I didn't care for this hair mask. I felt like my hair was a little more weighed down after using this 3 part system. But I loved the light scent, and my hair definitely felt more nourished and healthy after using Klorane Cupuocu Butter shampoo and conditioner, when I added the mask my hair felt heavy and greasy. I have very thick long hair and did have to use an awful lot. My hair is dry and brittle from heat damage and this mask makes it the softest it's probably ever been in my life. I don't expect it to repair any damage but it makes my hair smooth and manageable even after a few washes, and using it overnight once a week has yielded amazing results. My only complaint is that applying it to hair when it's dry makes it hard to work through the strands evenly because it gets tangled, maybe I'm misunderstanding what they mean by "apply to *dry* hair" in the directions. I'm not crazy about the scent either but I'm willing to overlook those issues. I stumbled across this mask at my Ulta store, looked up the company and liked what I read. So I figured why not. I use it as a rinse out mask in the shower. I leave it in for about 10 min. The slip is amazing. The scent is amazing. I do use a little leave in dab on the very last couple of inches because that's the driest part. My hair air dries soft and very wavy (best waves I've had in years) and no frizz or straw look. I use it every five days. I wish I had found this before spending hundreds on other masks, serums, oils, conditioners, etc. It is very thick and heavy and that worried me. Don't let it. It rinses out just fine.
