Yes, these are extremely expensive, but as long as you take good care of them, they're worth it. They are great for your skin and hair, and you can definitely tell the difference. My coarse, curly hair is less "frazzled" in the morning, and I have less creasing on my face in the morning. Just be sure to wash with Woolite or something similar, and air dry. I've also use the air dry only setting on my dryer and they seem fine.
