It's a cotton candy-ish smell, but not overwhelmingly powerful. It lingers forever, I've never gotten so many compliments on how great my hair smells!! I have waist length, thick THICK, wavy/curly hair. It's pretty coarse, hard to comb through, and I tend to have drier ends, which split often, even with regular trims. I had just gotten a trim before starting the Extreme Length regiment. I typically only wash my hair about every 3-5 days, just depending on how it feels. I kept my same hair care routine while sampling the line. This whole line is fantastic, and this leave-in it's the icing on the cake!! I have very coarse wavy/curly hair, and even with regular trims, my ends dry and split. I've tried a lot of different products, but usually if something keeps my ends moisturized, then the rest of my hair is weighed down, and looks heavy or dirty. I've been using this leave-in conditioner, after using the Extreme Length shampoo and conditioner, for almost a month, and I'm so impressed with how it performs in my hair!! It's truly made my hair feel soft and luscious! I've never been able to say that about my hair unless I'm walking out of a salon with a fresh blow-out. My ends aren't nearly as dry, which is stopping them from splitting. I'll be able to go longer between trims! The product itself isn't the least bit sticky, and absorbs quick and easy. I take biotin vitamins, and the line also contains biotin, which it great for hair and nails. I've been using the shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in for almost a month now, and my normally hard to manage coarse hair feels soft, and my ends aren't splitting nearly as much as before. I don't know if it's related, but it must be, because my nails are also much healthier, and growing like crazy! For two weeks, I used this leave-in treatment in conjunction with the corresponding shampoo and conditioner. Since I only used the product for two weeks, I unfortunately was unable to evaluate the claim that it improves hair growth. The main thing that I noticed with this was that my hair just seems really dry and dull, and I was having all kinds of static when brushing it. I do think that it gives my hair a little more volume by building up the individual strands of hair, and it did a great job at taming my frizz....or maybe it was mostly the conditioner that did that? Just as an experiment, I used the shampoo and conditioner without this leave-in treatment a couple of times to see if my hair felt or looked any different (it didn't). Overall, since this product may have helped to tame my frizz, I would definitely consider using it as a standalone treatment. After i washed my hair with the shampoo and conditioner, I applied a small amount to my hair and distributed it evenly. And then allowed my hair to be air dried in order to see the true results. Once my hair was dry I was pretty much in shock. The Extreme Length Shampoo, Conditioner & Treatment are miracle products. I have thick, medium length hair and was pleasantly surprised at how amazing my hair felt after using these products. The products comes in adorable, easy to use teal colored containers. The product is white and comes out of the containers very easily. The scent is subtle, but reminds me of my hair after visiting a hair salon. I used these products three times a week. I used about the size of a quarter of each separate product and it was plenty. The shampoo works into a nice lather and the conditioner made my hair very smooth after rinsing. The leave in treatment has really helped with the dryness and brittleness of my hair.
