I have always had a hard time finding a dry shampoo that I liked. Most aerosol options contain alcohol or other ingredients that are too drying and irritating to my scalp. I picked this up on a whim and it is a winner for me. I used this dry shampoo after applying a HEALTHY amount of argan oil to my hair the night before, and it left my hair looking and feeling lush and perfectly textured for my night out. For less oily days, I prefer to dispense the powder onto a makeup brush, then from there I apply it to my roots in sections. This is the only reason I'm giving this product 4 stars instead of 5. Applying it following the product instructions results in irregular bursts of powder that are hard to control and usually result in me using way more product than I need. I'm going to try other non-aerosol options, but I can see myself coming back to this one and being happy with it long term.
Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk is formulated with organically harvested oat milk, rice and corn starches. The ultra fine powder is naturally absorbent to remove dirt and oil from hair in-between washes. Plant based and vegan formula. I was gifted this product in exchange for my honest review. The product I received was the non-aerosol formulation in a squeezable packaging. •Experience• I have long, color-treated, naturally thick and wavy/curly hair—and I have tons of it! My hair is colored medium/dark ash brown, and while this product claims to work well for all hair colors (and types,) I did not find it to be true for me. I applied the powder to my hair as directed. The squeezing component makes it a little difficult to target a specific area, but that was okay for me since my hair needed a refresh all over. I let the product sit for the two minutes, and brushed it through my hair. It left a grayish cast behind and as much as I tried to brush it through, I couldn't get it to fully dissipate. Beyond the color, however, I had a larger issue. Although I could see a big improvement in the look of the root and scalp area texturally—my hair just didn't feel clean enough for me to feel confident in the results. I tried to apply more to get a better result but even then—I used over a third of the bottle of product in my application and it still didn't seem like enough. •Verdict• I wish I could have made this product work with my hair, but it was not meant to be. It could because I am using all sulfate free products now that my hair composition is different or maybe my hair thickness is just not well suited for this formula. I initially guessed that I did something wrong, so I tried again. However, I had the same results as the first application. I think this product would be better for someone with lighter colored hair and with less thickness/density. I like the packaging. I love that the formulation is aerosol-free. I think the ingredient list is awesome. Unfortunately, the product itself is a No for me.

I have been using this for years because it is not scented and not an aerosal. It leaves my hair feeling fresh and like there are no added products in my hair.

this does absorb oil, lasts a long time, and I like that it's not an aerosol. but it feels very heavy in the hair and leaves my hair gritty. my bottle is also hard to open now because product gets stuck in the cap.

I have tried COUNTLESS dry shampoos and this is the only one that has truly worked for me! Only cons are that application can be a bit messy/imprecise and there is a bit of a white cast if I use too much.

I do my best to stay away from aerosols or heavy scents so this is exactly what I was looking for! The squeeze its a bit strange at first (a spring pump may have been a little easier to apply) but overall great product.

the thing i hate about this product is the price, i hate that im going to have to repurchase this. hands down this is the best dry shampoo i have ever used, god forbid ive used alot. I have extremely oily hair, like wash it at night and next morning you would think its been days since ive showered. no dry shampoo has matched this one. It does have a smell butttt i enjoy it and its light. The thing ive learned about nonaresol dry shampoos is there have a huge learning curve but once you get it down, it works wonders. If you got the money and want amazing oil controlling shampoo, try this!! I wish they sold refills instead of having to buy a new container ever time):

Slightly disappointed. I like the formula, it soaks up oil well. However, it creates a lot of scalp build up. I also dont like that aluminum is the second ingredient… not so "clean". Overall works well, but not sure id repurchase due to price and build up, plus application is inconsistent due to the "puff" nature.

I have thin-ish, medium brown, straight hair and this has been a life saver! I originally purchased this because I was looking for a non-aerosol, lightly scented dry shampoo to try. It's hard to tell if the amount of product is worth the price point yet. However, the results I've gotten with this dry shampoo so far have been fantastic! It doesn't add volume, so if you're looking for that - don't buy this. But it does give an instant refresh to your roots without the white residue. I also love that it doesn't dry my hair out like the other dry shampoos usually do. The application process is a little different then what you may be used to. It does allow you to apply directly to the root area without getting on the mid-shaft area of the hair. The squeeze bottle technique may be tricky and tedious, but the best advice is to start small, and add more as need be!

I have issues with my hair getting oily but applying this powder after blowdrying has been a life saver for me. the first time I applied I was able to go all week without washing my hair and received compliments on my hair on day 5!

Unlike spray product, this powder has to be thoroughly rubbed in otherwise your part is white and anywhere else it falls. And check your ears for powder too. Does the job of absorbing oil but takes extra effort to distribute through hair and not walk around with white spots.

I've been looking for a non toxic dry shampoo and I was sketch ab this one at first but I LOVE IT!!! I was concerned ab the reviews saying it was hard to apply but I do not think so. My hair goes from oily to clean looking within minutes and doesn't have that gross dry shampoo feeling!

This is the only dry shampoo I've used that actually works without making my hair feel like there's product in it. I didn't see the brunette version until after I bought this one so that's my mistake, but it does leave a very noticeable white cast on darker hair if you use too much.

I've been looking for a non aerosol dry shampoo and this is the best!!! It lasts forever and is so much cleaner than even the "clean" aerosol dry shampoos. It makes your hair white at first but it absorbs right after you brush it. Love it!

I applied VERY little and it made my fine hair stick together and very stiff. If you want your hair to feel clean and have movement, this is not the product for you.

This was my first dry shampoo and I probably should not have started with the non-aerosol. I struggle with getting it to puff out in the spots I want and tend to get it all over my shirt. Minus that the product does seem to work well and I can get it to blend in with my medium brown hair. Sounds like quite a few others tend to leave white residue on darker hair.

This dry shampoo has been working really well for me compared to aerosol dry shampoos. The best way for me to use it is to apply it in my hair at night and massage in whatever is leftover in the morning. It doesn't irritate my scalp as much as aerosol versions, but it still can get a little itchy. I'm sure that's just personal to me and my sensitivities. I have dark brunette hair and I can get it to blend in almost completely. Sometimes I have a slight gray cast if I've accidentally put too much. Which brings me to why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, the applicator. I never know how much product is going to come out! Sometimes the perfect amount and other times a little too much. And the powder does tend to get everywhere, so definitely apply it before getting dressed. If Klorane could find a way to perfect the applicator, then this would be 5 Stars for sure!

This has been my only dry shampoo I have used for quite some time now. I use to struggle with aerosol dry shampoos leaving my hair feeling worse most of the times. A little goes a long way for sure! How I recommend using it is at night before bed and let it sit for a bit before working it in to the rest of your hair.

Give this product a chance! Especially if you're brunette- it does come out white but works into your hair so well. Once you figure out how to use the applicator and control how much comes out, it's amazing. Serious game changer with the powder- way better than any aerosol dry shampoo.

I love this stuff. I have tried many dry shampoos but all of the aerosol ones seem to impart a little bit of moisture that turns stiff in the end. I put this on lightly before I go to bed and have found that there isn't much left in the morning. No oil and no powder left, that means that by my wash day my hair doesn't either look dirty and gross, or oily. I have very fine hair and can get away with washing it twice a week.

I originally tried this dry shampoo because my husband has asthma and any aerosol sprays irritate his asthma. I tried a few shaker bottles and found them really hard to distribute the product around my scalp. This squeeze bottle isn't 100% as easy as aerosol but it's pretty darn close! And well worth the slightly more complicated application for easier breathing in my house! The product works great and a little goes a long way. One bottle lasted me 4-5 months of biweekly use. This is my new go-to!

I bought this dry shampoo because after years of using aerosols, I wanted something that wouldn't actively harm the environment. I thought that this likely wouldn't be as good, but was willing to put up with an inferior product if it meant it was better for the environment. I was so wrong! Over the years, the aerosol dry shampoos I've used are TRESemme, Hask, Batiste, Philosophy, Moroccan Oil, Verb, and Amika. This Klorane dry shampoo beats all of them. All the others I've tried worked for one day on my fine, oily hair, but by day two, my hair was flat and heavy with product. The Klorane dry shampoo actually gives my hair volume and works so much better on the second and third day. I'm a convert now. The only issues with this product are that it's hard to gauge how much powder will come out with each squeeze and it takes more effort to blend, especially on darker hair. I've started squeezing powder into my hands and distributing from there, which is working well. Still, I highly recommend this product especially if you have fine, oily hair.

I love that this is non aerosol spray, it's less harsh on my hair and the environment. I do wish that they made a zero package though. After using this dry shampoo I want to try the rest of the Klorane branded hair products. I love the results of this dry shampoo and will be replacing my current go-to brand with this one

I have naturally fine, oily hair. Regular aerosol dry shampoo does ok, but still leaves me greasy by the end of the day. This stuff is magic on my hair!

This is a first time buy of dry shampoo all in itself but I was in need as I was away from home unexpectedly and had to clean my scalp. I purchased this for the main reason that it's NOT an aerosol can. I was impressed by the simple instructions and how my hair felt after done. This will be something that I keep in my bag every time I'm away from home.

it is a good powered dry shampoo compared to others i used. It has a fresh scent and it gets the job done. it does leave a bit of a residue though which i am not a fan of.
