This is such an underrated gem @ Ulta! Everybody goes crazy for Too Faced but this is just as efficient & at a fraction of the cost especially when you can get em on sale for $6 each. I don't understand folks complaining about "the burn" . Do you think your lips will expand in size from something non irritating? Sure you can get your lip lines Smoother & a more moisturized pout but then your looking for a lip BALM not a plumper! This burns like pepper & lasts quite a bit but the outcome is super sexy! I've purchased the shades cotton candy which is one of the only cool tone Pinks I've ever found & the sheer Sparkly pink one, forgot the name (they don't say names on them). I hope they come out with more colors & sheer ones. If you want a less abrasive Plumper try buxom, to me it don't burn as bad. I also noticed as with anything the more you apply the more ur lips get used to it & it won't burn as bad. too faced used to kill me & now I'm not even phased by em.
I know some lip plumpers give you a tingling feeling as they work...but this wasn't that. It plain burns. I was at my hallway mirror, about to leave the house...doing my usually spiel of adding gloss before I walk out the door.....applied this & was feeling cute for a few seconds before my lips started having this stinging burn felling. It was concerning enough to make me walk to my kitchen to rinse my lips off. The last thing I need is a chemical burn on my lips. Even after removing the clear gloss it still burned for another few minutes. I don't normally leave reviews, and I'm not someone who likes going back to the store to return things, but I will certainly be getting my money back and side eyeing this clear gloss from now on.

It's just like .. way too unnecessarily spicy?? I even accidentally got some on my tongue and it was burning. PLUS I bought this just thinking it was regular lip gloss smh. NO Ulta just no.

I used to be a Too Faced MAX lip plump gloss girly BUT I decided to give the ulta one a try since seeing a review on tik tok and omg I am never going back. I love this one 10000 times better, it does burn a lot but only lasts a couple minutes and you don't even need a lot! My sis literally thought I had gotten lip injections and said my lips looked plump and beautiful! Very long lasting I 1000/10 recommend.

I love this. I like the tingle, the shiny finish and the fact that it actually plumps. It is sheer with very fine sparkle. I would try more colors.

This has a nice plumping effect but it feels extremely sticky instead of glossy which was a bit disappointing.

I wanted so badly to like this product as I consider myself an avid fan of lip plumping priducts and I was excited to find one for less than $24. I expected to feel a cool, tingly senastion one usually associates with camphor or tea tree but what I experienced was the feeling of someone dragging my lips across hot cement. It burned to the point I thought I lost the first layer of skin on my lips. Two stars because once I got feeling in my lips back, the color deposit was good and it wasn't too sticky.

Please, ULTA, never ever do away with this product. Don't listen to the haters who complain about the burn. I've never had a plumper work so well, even the expensive ones. I've tried them all, and nothing compares.

Yes it burns, but they all do. I have several different lip plumpers, and this one burns the same amount as they all do. The color was very shimmery and pretty. The burning sensation fully stops after about ten minutes. I love it all in all.

This item has almost no color to it, and it burned my lips badly.

It's a pretty gloss but it doesn't plump your lips AT ALL

Okay, my little sister bought this as a fun little plumping gloss. We had bought her one from Claire's and decided it was time for a step up. She tried it and started crying soon after. After seeing her reaction i decided to see if it was really as bad as she was making it out to be. Low and behild the gloss burns like it does after eating a spicy chicken sandwich (the second time…if ya know what i mean). I tried to wipe it off, but it was too sticky to get off. I swear i didn't know if i was gonna have any lips left after i had gotten it off. I was rushing over the sink, scraping it off of my lips just to try and stop the burning. After 5 minutes of that not working i switched to ice. the ice helped but i could still feel the burn after for around 30 minutes. For reference, i buy plumper glosses all the time. I honestly love them. This is the worst plumper gloss i think i have ever used. DO NOT BUY.

I'm seeing a lot of comments about the "burn" maybe I'm weird but I like it !!!!! Definitely saw a difference in my lips ! Would absolutely purchase again.

Althought this did plump my lips, it was painful to wear. It burns much like the too faced lip injections and was very sticky. The packaging also leaked product. I would reccomend the essence what the fake plumping lip gloss for a better affordable option.

I just bought this at a store. Wish I read some negative reviews before. Like some people pointed out, it gives a burned feeling on the lip and really hurts. Have to toss it unfortunately

Seriously nothing ever plumps like this gloss, it's sticky yes but if you want a plump this is it.

So I've tried many "plumping" products, but there's no actual science to prove this. Regardless, I do like the minty or medicated type products that give a little tingle, but this was just unbearable! This product actually feels like it's burning! And I've never been sensitive to these types of products, as they've never given me a problem. And to be honest, this was just a random grab off the shelf because I was in hurry to find something cheap, shimmery and glossy. Never again.

I used to use a higher end one until I tried this hidden gem & i will never go back

I was looking for a gloss to go on top of long lasting lip stick. I wasn't even looking for something that plumped. I got this, not paying attention to the packaging. Once my lips began to burn and my throat vegan to feel tight, I went back to the package only to realize I bought plumping gloss. It's terrible…feels like coating my lips with jalapeños. Wiped it off, added Vaseline and it's still burning.

This is my go to lip gloss. I love the clear, it brings out the natural color of my lips. And no need for a mirror;) it makes my lips tingle a bit and I can feel them getting a little plumper

I bought this knowing it would plump and my lips dont need plumping so idk how well it plumps but when I tell you the burn is UNBEARABLE. I tested it and had to take it off it hurt so bad. Looks great but my lips hurt!

I'll be going back to the buxom one. This burns soo bad. It feels like i burned my mouth on hot sauce or peppers. And it's not bearable. I'll be returning

This stuff burns pretty bad. If you can stand it, the color is actually beautiful. I'm just not into being in pain for a little lip color and shine! Each to his own though.
Angie from Dallas, TX
I am always looking for an effective lip plumper & they're very hard to find BUT Ulta has made an afforable one! And yes it burns burns but for me, I like it because that's how I know it's working! The ratings should be way higher. I will say you will obviously have to reapply it often but that's with any gloss.
Therese from Orland Pk Il.
Does it burn Oh Yeh it sure does. I couldn't wait to try it I usually get Buxton but said I'll give Ulta's own brand a try . It's on my lips over a half hour now I love the color I also got Ultas lip liner to go with it .It's Burning now since application will have to wash off which is shameful as I was sure this brand would beat its outside competitors .Burn Burn Burning just too much , sorry I can't handle it

Pros: It does have a tingle to it - its a plumping lip gloss… it's supposed to! Price- cant beat it. Great colors. Cons: It is sticky- hair gets stuck in it but that's most glosses. I dont notice actual plumping of my lips.
