The first time I used this, I followed their directions and looked way too dark and pretty orange. I have fairly light skin but am definitely not a fair/ivory and use this to not look too pale as sunny days approach! I have since been using only two drops mixed into my moisturizer about every 4-5 days and love the results. There is still a bit of an orange tinge to my skin, but also a really healthy glow. I've gotten a lot of compliments on looking "glowy", but maybe that's their way of saying "Hey! You don't look like a ghost anymore!" Either way, I'm really happy with this product! The tone was perfect once it developed and I really liked how so little went such a long way. I even used some of it in my regular lotion and used it all over my body. Which brings me to my review of the ultra dark tanning mousse. It would have been so much nicer if I had a shade lighter, because I think the ultra dark was too much of a severe pigment change for my fair to red-toned skin. I also didn't like how splotchy the color was when it developed.
