But now I'm on my fourth tube, and I've been loving it enough that I would like to give my insight and advice to using! About my acne: I struggle mostly with papules around my chin and occasionally get some on my forehead and cheek. I developed this adult acne my last year of college after not really having anything other than hormonal acne. Okay so when you first start using it it is best to only use a little once a day, especially if you have sensitive skin. A little dot goes a long way. It reduces the redness of your pimples, as well as soothes the skin which was a huge benefit to me. Will it get rid of pimples overnight? No! Will it help soothe them and decrease their size/ oiliness? Absolutely. After my skin got a bit used to the active ingredients I'm now able to apply twice or three times a day. I feel as though it really helps decrease my bumps. Do not use on top of any other topical treatments for acne with active ingredients or you risk hurting your skin! Overall, i think this product works if you give your skin patience to heal. It's best for less cystic acne and more papules and pustules based acne as I've seen. I love this product because it's really helped soothe my trouble areas and help expedite the healing process.Most Helpful Critical ReviewGave me HORRIBLE chemical burns!!!!Please please PLEASE be educated on the formulation of a product before applying it to your face. I have never in my life had any type of bad reaction to ANY type of skincare/makeup, etc. I received this product in my IPSY bag last month. I dont have sensitive skin, I dont have acne, I'll just get breakouts from time to time. Going back to work after the holidays my skin started breaking out a bit from wearing a mask more often. So I came home night before last and applied this on MANY blemishes - the whole right side of my lower cheek was breaking out so I literally just rubbed this all over it, hoping to wake up with blemish free skin.... NOPE. MY SKIN IS ANGRY! AND SO AM I. More so at myself for not patch testing but I have literally NEVER had a problem with any product. And I try out new products monthly with my subscription box. When I tell you the whole right side of my cheek is swollen with VERY red, dry, irritated, itchy patches. And I also have a few more to match in the other random places on my face that I applied this product. Idk what to do. I'm currently laying in bed soaking my face in cortizone cream. Wish I had read some of these reviews prior to trying it bc it seems like a lot more people have had the same experience. This is AWFUL. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
