This glossing leave in is actually better than the balm in the tube. No doubt, my hair is incredibly shiny! My highlights are vibrant. Hair is smooth and soft. I especially focus on mid shaft to ends of hair. I don't spray lots. Just one spritz downward motion from mid shaft to ends each side and back of hair. I have sprayed minimal on top but cautious because my roots can get oily. This product does not leave my hair oily. I wash my hair every other day. Using this product I maintain every other day washing. I can't say it does wonders for frizz though. But the humidity is awful here. Love that it has heat protection. At times, to finish off my look I spray just a little to hands and apply to ends after flat ironing. Sleek. So pleased I finally started using Its a 10 products.Most Helpful Critical ReviewSmell is very strongI have used the original It's a 10 leave in (that trustworthy dark blue bottle!) for several years and tried this new product after finishing the original bottle I had. Not sure this works as well as the og, but the smell is SO strong. It's not "unpleasant" smelling but i feel like I've walked through a perfume store and I'm soaked in fragrance. My sister that lives with me twitches her nose after I walk by after freshly using on wet/or blow dried hair and doesn't like. Detanglimg my fine hair seems about the same, not sure the "shine" is much greater than the og. Don't recommend this line particularly, prefer the original. Works well for my thick, coarse, frizzy hair. I spray (a lot!) right after I shower when my hair is still wet but a little towel dried and not dripping. It's best if I can blow dry on low speed but usually don't have time before work. My hair still turns out soft and manageable with a little frizz that's controlled with a straightener on medium heat. I use a little Biosilk serum after I straighten and my frizz is gone. So yes, I still have to work at frizz control but DEFINITELY a big difference when using this spray! I have some more stuff coming from this line to try as well because I love the mask and leav-in so much.
