Not only that they are thin and worse they are very very straight. A lot of times it doesn't even look like I have any. That being said, this mascara really created a WOW factor without the heavy clumping that I get with other "thickening" mascaras. Bye bye tarantula eyes! This mascara gave me noticeable lashes and it magically curled my super straight lashes that gave my eyes a larger profile with a brighter more awake look. The wand is super messy when it comes out of the mascara barrel! I actually used a wand from a different mascara, and it worked nicely. It does a good job of separating and defining, but it is not a wet, slick mascara and thus it kind of takes forever to work in and get the lashes coated. After 2 coats my lashes do not look thicker or fuller - so, not a volumizing formula. After fully dry my lashes were all bent out away from my face - kinked and curled out inside of up. I should have looked up the ingredients first! This mascara has carmine in it, which is a red pigment commonly found in makeup, made from powdered cochineal beetles. I am highly allergic to it around my eyes, so now my eyes are red and goopy. The mascara itself did make my lashes look pretty. However, it smudged to my lower lash line throughout the day. (I was wearing an ULTA tubing mascara on the bottom lashes.)
