No one warned me that my hair and scalp texture would change so dramatically after menopause. I used to wash my hair daily, but neither my hair nor scalp can sustain wet shampooing frequently. My hairdresser gave me a sample size of First Class Charcoal Dry Shampoo which I shoved in a cabinet and forgot about. In my youth, dry shampoos were nasty. Baby powder was another way of dealing with oily hair between washings, albeit not a good one. Over the holidays, my daughter-in-law came to visit and said she forgot her dry shampoo, so I told her to use mine. She was blown away by how nice it was. So I tried it. It was great. It helped tame my hair which can look wild and witchy now that it is graying and dry. It made my scalp feel better and my hair smelled nice. It is easier to style with a proper styling tool for my now-hair-texture. So, older women especially, don't disregard dry shampoo. It is not what we remember from the last millennia.
First of all, my best friend says this is her all time favorite. I on the other hand find this to be terrible. -She has thicker Asian hair that's pretty healthy and she likes to use oils in her ends. IGK gives her volume and a little texture and absorbs the oil from her roots breed than anything, she says. -I have fine hair that's oily at the root and dry at the ends, I don't use oils because they weigh me down. IGK made my roots instantly flat and stuck to my head with static. The texture felt so dirty and tangled. I want to wash it out instantly. I way prefer (in this order): bumble's French clay aerosol for oily hair in the pink can, perfect hair day, drybar, Moroccan oil's for dark hair.

I have been using this product for years now and it is awesome. My hair dresser suggested it and I have never strayed since. Spray a little at base of hair, wait a few minutes- then rub brush and go. I use it on my colored hair with no problem. No residue left behind but make sure to blend it after letting it soak up oils. Smells great and not too overpowering. I am sensitive to smells and have to be picky with all hair and skin products. This is not so strong it will give me a headache!! I get the travel size because it is pricey for me but that small can last me awhile. I remember in Jr High using baby power to do this same thing. Thankfully those times are gone and we now have these products. I would definitely say at least get travel size and give it a try.

I've used so many dry shampoos and have never found any even close to this good! My hair gets super oily very quickly. This dry shampoo is a hard core oil fighter. I am in LOVE! 10 out 5 stars.

This dry shampoo did not stand out to me. Did not last long on my hair and i needed touch ups throughout the day. Not buying again.

I'm a sucker for a good dry shampoo and this one is my absolute favorite. It smells so good and also makes my roots look like I just washed my hair! It really "detoxifying" my scalp to get rid of grease, no white residue either! Spray some in sections down at the roots , brush it out and it looks like freshly washed hair :)

After 10+ years of trying several different brands, I have finally found a dry shampoo that I love! From drugstore brands to high-end brands...they were all just ok or didn't work or dried out my hair. I could not be happy with First Class!

I have tried for years to find a dry shampoo that actually works and didn't make my hair feel so dry and stiff. I have fine oily hair and it can be oily by the end of the day. I tried this and slept with it, and my hair still looked clean! I highly recommend. Even the smell is fantastic!

I have very thin, fine hair and this is the best dry shampoo out there by far!

I don't know if it was just my can but it was VERY hard to spray. I did not feel it sprayed into my hair well it evenly. Additionally the smell leaves little to be desired.

Hands down best dry shampoo!! There's not cakeness or disgusting texture left behind. works great! The only reason I wouldn't recommend is because it's a little pricey. I would love to be able to find a dupe for a cheaper price but haven't been able to so far.

If you have hair you have to wash every other day because of the oils. This right here is your hero. BUY IT! It took me using every bottle at the drug store and they did not work. This one is pure magic.

I tried this and it did not help my oily scalp at all. I sprayed, let it dry for 30 seconds, then rubbed it in and tousled my roots. My hair looked the same as before applying this dry shampoo spray. I also didn't care for the smell, it's too strong for my liking. I had to wash it out because I didn't want to sleep with the strong scent. Back to colored dry shampoo powder for me. That has never failed my oily scalp, but I don't like the build up it leaves.

This is by far my favorite dry shampoo! I don't love the scent of any dry shampoo, I think they all have a kind of chemical smell. But this one doesn't have a heavy smell which is good. The best thing about it is that it works amazingly good! I have light blond hair for reference, but this doesn't make my hair look "powdery" at all. Soaks into the roots and takes away that oily, flatness in my 2nd day and sometimes 3rd day hair. (If I don't shampoo every day, my hair is oily so this is a must for my 2nd day hair.) I like some of their other products, but even the texturizer can make my hair look oily rather than "piecey" so this one is my favorite of the line.

This is the best dry shampoo, and I have tried them all. Enough to give you volume and oompf- but not enough to weigh you down. Really works!

I really love how this dry shampoo works. It soaks up grease, while refreshing the scalp and makes hair smell better. It truly does what it says and doesn't build up in your hair like most dry shampoos. If you have dark hair, you'll have to spray on strategically so you don't end up with the light spots. I wish the fragrance was softer but other than that I love it!
