I had been using pumice stone files and sandpaper type grit files, but they didn't quite get my feet baby soft. Almost tried one of those baby foot peels, but so glad I gave this a try first! I used it for the first time three days ago after I had been in the shower for about 10 minutes... let me tell you - SUPER SOFT feet!! I couldn't believe it! My skin is not irritated and i didn't need to use the file in the shower this morning, which has never happened before ever. Very impressed with this file... love the two sides with rough and fine grits and the cute mini pull-out file in the handle. So glad I listened to the other reviewers and gave this a try. In my experience, I thought this product was a dud for the first 3 minutes bc I wasn't applying enough pressure and my feet dry. I soaked my feet in water for 15 minutes, and kept it damp and waddyaknow, little dead skin particles started rubbing off when I tried again. You can spray your feet with water as well, just to soften up the skin. This worked really well for me. I'd say I got rid of 90% of the dead skin cells. I decided to stop bc the flesh was looking real pink which, to me, seemed like a good place to stop. I will try to do this weekly for best results.
