I absolutely love trying foundations, so after seeing a lot of hype over this foundation after it initially launched, I decided to get it. First off, even though the foundation does come with a standard 1 oz. of product, like most liquid foundations do, it wasn't a major deal with me because of the price being so low. I don't mind it having a doe foot applicator to it, as I find that it makes the foundation very easy to apply overall. This foundation definitely sets to a Demi-matte finish, so setting it with powder is a definite must. Due to the first ingredient in this foundation, which is a common ingredient in a lot of foundations, you will get a noticeable type of scent that reminds me of the Wet n Wild foundation. However, the scent become faint after you apply it onto your face, and I don't notice it at all after a a short while, so it's not a scent that lingers throughout the day okay. The shade that I use is #10, and it works fine for me, but I have seen that the line has launched new shades on their actual websites, so I do plan to try the shade 9.5 in the future, to see jut how that will match me as well. In regards to the foundations lasting power, it all has to do with the powder that you use to set it with. Because, all setting powders definitely aren't created the same, so if your regular setting powder doesn't work best with this foundation then try another one. For this foundation go wear all day on me without even needing any touch ups, I set it with Ben Nye's Banana Powder. And, the foundation stats flawless on me all day until I take it off. I like that I can get medium-to-full coverage with it, however, I still do apply concealer around my eye area for extra coverage and for eyeshadow priming as well. Also, I do feel that this foundation is great to use for any occasion, as it performs really well, and I really happen to like the type of bottle packaging that it comes in as well.
Let me start by saying that I love and use the Estee Lauder Doublewear Stay-in-place foundation typically. BUT, I have been searching for a cheaper option to use for everyday purposes, due to the price increases on the Estee Lauder Doublewear line. I just Can not afford to buy it religiously. So... I bought this foundation after reading excellent reviews on this site as well as others, and loved to hear that many were comparing it to the Tarte Shape Tape foundation. I have oily skin and read that this foundation has a pretty, matte finish and helps control oil. Well... I have had no luck after a week of use, using different primers and setting techniques, hoping to find a good combo. (I apply it to my skin with the doe foot applicator then buff it out with a buffing foundation brush, to get the best coverage.) Nothing has worked to keep this foundation from breaking down around my nose and T-zone, where I get oiliest throughout the day. It settles in creases and lines throughout the day and oxidizes on my skin, also. I also have had quite a few large, painful breakouts since I've started using this foundation. With all of this said, I will be returning the product.

I bought this foundation looking for a full coverage foundation I can use everyday. No matter what I use this just does not sit on my face it just exposes all my fine lines and slides off my face. I tried 3 different primers and 2 different moisturizers I just couldn't get this foundation to work. You have limited time to work this foundation and blend it , I used a brush I used a sponge it was a FAIL! After several times to attempt to make this work I gave up, this foundation just isn't for me. I'm can have dry to combo skin if that helps anyone.

This is my first time buying this brand. I do like it. It's good coverage. Good product.

Been using this foundation for several years. It has been my go to ever since. I have oily to dry skin. I prime my skin before application for an all day wear.. If I do not prime 1st, my skin becomes oily quicker. My only complaint is its becoming harder to find my shade and have to order online now.

I'm an oily girl and this foundation does not melt off my face. It did get oily but i blot and it's fine. Typically most foundations fall off me bc of how oily I am. This foundation hold up with me and doesn't hold onto texture. 9/10

This did NOT work for me. It quickly filled my fine lines/pores & looked dry/patchy. It may work better w/ normal, oily, or younger skin. Pros: Color match, coverage, texture Cons: Separated, drying

I've had this foundation for a while and grabbed it out of an old makeup purse (it's probably ~2 years old) and used it. Then I forgot why I stopped using it? Went on fabulously (over the ELF halo liquid filter) and I was so impressed. Wore it for about 5 hours and my only complaint was that I was oilier than normal in my t-zones but otherwise I didn't notice any separation of patchiness. For the record, I am 39, AA/caucasian, combo-dry skin. Light/medium with golden undertones.

I love this foundation! The shade is like skin.

I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad, maybe people don't know how to prep/ prime their skin, but this foundation is great and easy to use. Full coverage or natural, it can do both. It can be a little drying if you have dry skin like me, but that's why I use a primer and spray and it looks great. What works for some won't work for everyone but it looks great

It is full coverage but goes on kind of rough. If I have to pull my skin to apply makeup, it's not for me. I probably won't be using it again.

Amazing coverage that lasts all day

Hard to blend, coverage was too thick and it didn't wear well for me.

I love this would recommend definitely buy it now. Such a great price for full coverage!

It is very full coverage and it sits perfectly on my skin. It did bring out most of my texture though. Overall I love it.

It has very good coverage but it takes a bit to blend. If you have dry skin I would recommend putting an oil or heavy moisturizer under this before applying it

Very cakey. Not the build up that you would expect. If you wear glasses and sweat, it'll grease at the edging of your glasses despite the fact that you are blending/using setting spray/powder. I prefer the IRL filter foundation to this. The IRL has a pump and this has a concealer wand even though it's foundation. I prefer the pump with my sponge.

I'm sad to see so many bad reviews. I love this foundation. It has great coverage & I love that it has such a wide shade range! The only thing I really hate about it is the glass bottle & doe foot applicator. Being in a long glass bottle, you can't get the rest of it out once it gets low. And the doe foot applicator is extremely unhygienic. I struggle w/acne so I'm scared that the more I use this, bacteria will grow inside & make me break out. I've only used it about 4 times tho so luckily no break outs yet. But man... coverage is great & when I set it with IT Bye Bye Pores setting powder, I have absolutely NO PORES which is normally impossible for me bc I have the biggest pores in the world. But the combo of the 2 products is perfection!! Plus Bye Bye Pores makes most foundations last a very long time on me w/o getting oily. So I recommend getting both! I use a brush to blend it out btw. It's hard to match online so I recommend going to the store.

I have very dark undereye bags, rosacea, eczema, and acne. Most of the foundations I have tried (high and low end) either aren't able to cover them or increase my texture. I use this foundation for concealer and foundation and it id by far the best I've tried!

At first use I thought I loved this foundation but after a few uses it made my skin very dry looking no matter how much I moisturized my skin, the shade I got is a little light surprisingly for my fair skin so that is a plus for pale girls!! I even tried to mix the foundation with a water based moisturizer and that helped a little but not enough to keep using. It is a little weird that the first amd Second use the coverage blew me away then it suddenly didn't???

I think this formula would only work for ppl with the flawless skin of their teens to early 20s, but I can't say because I've been over age 30 since this was released. I tried it and Conceal & Define is the worst foundation formulation I've ever tried. I would say just get Maybelline Fit Me or L'Oreal True Match if you want reliable, inexpensive liquid foundation. The Revolution brand is so low quality, it's best to not to waste your time/money on it.

I tried this once because my favorite foundation was out of stock and it's been a nightmare. It maximizes your pores and any lines you have on your face. It will make you look older. If you have any spots on your face prone to getting oily it will get oily within 2 hour or less. If you have any spots on your face that get dry, the foundation will start to peel. Also the first time trying it, it smelled like straight chemicals.

I bought this foundation thinking it would work for me but it didn't. The couple times I wore it, I noticed it was super dry and became very cakey. It also stuck to my dry spots and you could see every line and pore on my face.

I have pretty fair skin and it's always hard to find that perfect shade that's not to dark or to light. I finally found my perfect shade with this foundation!!!

Love the full coverage it provides, I can start with a light layer (a little goes a long way) and build from there. It goes on well and stays in place all day with very little to no creasing. My only complaint is the shade options and inconsistency. I went into store to match and I normally am pretty fair so when I was matching to some of their middle to darker shades I was hesitant I was matching incorrectly. I ended up with a lighter shade and now need to apply a darker powder to make up for it. I will say it does warm up throughout the day. Moral of the story, definitely recommend match testing in person and not guessing online.
