Most Helpful Positive Review Flaky, but an excellent accent
I got this because... it's white liquid eyeliner. So many possibilities. After trying it, however, I've confirmed that I'm pretty much just using white out! That's not exactly a bad thing, but I'm really not joking. Get out a container of classic white out, and open it up. Look at the brush, then draw a line on the back of your hand. You have now swatched NYX's White Liquid Liner. It requires a very steady and patient hand to apply, and it is kind of flaky. I mostly use it under my eye pulled up along my cat eye, so it's not too noticeable, but you won't be able to do looks like they advertise (huge graphic lines) without noticing the cracking and flaking.
Most Helpful Critical Review It stains clothes!!
I've had the same experience with this product as most people here and I'm
moderately satisfied with it. however!!! it's like paint! like acrylic paint! It flakes and crumbles when you set it with powder, and looks chalky when you don't. It's very nicely pigmented, but you can't build it up if there's a clear spot bc it will just flake off. Overall, I like the product, but using for much more than freckles/dots is not recommended.

I really liked this eyeliner. I have used it for costume makeup. The color is really pigmented. However The brush for it is a big problem. I don't know what happened but my brush had been destroyed. When I pulled it out of the container the bristles were in all different directions. I had to use a different brush to apply the eyeliner. This is also a difficult eyeliner to remove. It is very sticky and peels off almost like glue. I do still use it as I have not found another eyeliner that is as pigmented as this one, I just wish the brush tip was different.
Cracks A LOT

this eyeliner cracks a lot. no matter how little or how much you put on. it also stains clothes, so be careful of that. the brush is kind of nice though.
Great liner for price!

I like this liner, it's my holy grail!
Lovely liquid liner
makeupfrenzy from Encino, California
I absolutely love this liner. This is my second one and I couldn't be happier. It's pigmented, easy to work with, and at a great price point. It does get a little watery over time, but that's fine since I use this for graphic liner and to add details and designs to my makeup looks. I never use it for a basic liner look, so the watery formula the more I use it doesn't bother me. That said, I can picture that being a problem if you're using this as basic eyeliner if you're not expecting it to suddenly be watery. My only issue is that the brush gets flutzed and out of shape with more use despite the fact that I'm delicate while using it, but with the price point, I can't complain. I just use a different brush to use the liner when this happens.
Not for beginners but still awesome!!
Sara from California
It's hard to apply because of the long and wiggly tip but I have super shaky hands. I wish the tip was more firm but it's still super good and doesn't smudge.
Ella from Earth
Super inexpensive! I haven't tried it yet but I just got it and it looks like there is a lot in there! The brush looks very thin and high quality! I also love the brand!!!

If you know how to use a liquid liner, it's a 10/10 liquid liner. It goes on opaque and it doesn't budge if you're just doing normal activities.

I've been buying liner after liner, whether it says waterproof, or not, and it does not hold up. This liner is not only dark black, shiny, and beautiful, if my eyes leak from allergies, this liner doesn't break up, disappear, or run down the sides of my face! It takes a lot of tearing before this liner breaks up. This has now become my go-to liner! I will keep on buying this!

Nyx honestly has the best liners in my opinion. I don't like anyone else's. And I'm not willing to try anyone else's either.

Cracks and doesn't last long. Get something else.

Favorite liquid eyeliner
Heather from Florida
This is easily my favorite liquid eyeliner. I have tried multiple EXPENSIVE, well-known brands and none of them work like this. The tube lasts forever and doesn't get all dried out like other brands I've used. It lasts long and I've never had issues with flaking like other reviews have stated. I actually can sleep in this eyeliner and touch it up in the morning and it looks as good as new. I 100% recommend this to all of my friends and get compliments on it almost every time I wear it. I have sensitive, "normal" skin. I am not too oily or too dry. It can definitely be messy if you are not used to applying liquid eyeliner and can be a real pain if you get it in your eye.

Cracks so bad dosent go on smoothly hate it worse eyeliner I've used
Good product but feels weird on the eye
Abby from St. Louis, MO
I like the small tip of the brush so I can apply the product precisely, but once it dries it makes my eyelidss feel like they have been painted on, like they are heavy and something is preventing them from opening and closing normally. It's like the eyeliner dries really stiff; most products you cannot even tell you're wearing anything, but with this, I constantly feel it on my eyes.
Not for people who wear contacts
Kelley from CA
It's pretty but it crumbles off your eyes throughout the day and gets in your eye. Ripped 2 pairs of contacts
I love eyeliners

I think that this product is good if you like a wetter formula. The liner is definitely very wet and when I put it on my lash line and then open my eye, it will get all over my lid. I also don't love the applicator. It is more of a brush tip with bristles than a marker tip. It does glide on very smoothly, which is good. It also looks nice once you clean it up. I think this is a decent product, but I don't think I'll be buying it again.
Dry, flaky, no
L from Utah
It goes on so patchy and runny, and once it dries down it starts flaking off. I had to scrub my eye with a q-tip to get it to flake off because my regular makeup cleanser couldn't remove it. Totally ruins any makeup look you try it with.

it's LITERALLY white out, do NOT get this. i've had a better experience with NYX's other colors of liquid (tried the blue and purple liquid liners). it's still thick and goopy and kinda flaky when it dries but it looks nice from afar.
I wouldn't buy this product again.

I did not like it. I mean, it's okay, but it gets really flakey and like crumbles and cracks on your skin. It kinda reminds me of white out, but like okay for your eyes. I would recommend finding another eyeliner. If you really want one for this price, then it won't kill you, but finding a more expensive one/better one in general will be worth your time.
Cracked Right Away
MUA Flo from Hoffman Estates
The product was smaller than I expected but that's beside the point. I certainly wasn't impressed with the quality of the liner. It cracked right away after drying. Unfortunately, I won't be buying it again. My search for a white liquid liner continues.
yellowvicki from Simi Valley, CA
it was kinda hard to open up, it was good while it lasted! Wish there was more product in it & wish it didn't dry out so quickly :(
Kate from Seattle, WA
I'm pretty sure the only reason this has okay reviews is because there's so few white eyeliners to pick from, but that's no excuse. It's thick, gloopy, patchy, feels terrible to wear, and starts flaking off as soon as you put it on. The "pros" are that it looks semi-okay from far away for like an hour or if you use it for some other purpose I guess, but it definitely doesn't work as a normal liquid liner. Clown makeup would literally work better than this.
Good color but she thicc

So I love the idea of white eyeliner. And wanted to love this so much.... I had to do multiple layers as the first mixed with the shadow pigment. The brush is too long in my opinion so the control lacks there (user error?) eventually it looked great! But I felt it tighten on my eyelid and then noticed small cracks... removing it was ok until the swelling started. I used micellar water(my go to) let it sit for a moment and gently removed it not my eyes are still swollen :(
Kristina from TN
I have used the entire bottle of this eyeliner and it works beautifully. NOT smelly, NOT sticky, NOT thick. It doesn't crack AT ALL!! Even with my oily eyelids it stays put for hours!! And it does come off easily with makeup remover wipes. (Duh it's what they're made for??) I don't know why people are saying these things because mine was absolutely amazing!!
