Most Helpful Positive Review Super Light Weight & Feels Healthy for my Hair
I felt every dryer in my Ulta store and this was by far the lightest and most comfortable in my hand. I've lived with chronic pain & I can dry my hair with ease with the Rusk W8Less hairdryer! Simple white, ergonomic design and 7 speed/heat settings that are gentle on your hair yet gives enough heat when needed for a quick dry. I love the cool button setting selection without having to hold the button down. This is a great dryer for anyone but those living with arthritis, fibromyalgia, or any chronic pain/fatigue condition will appreciate the ease of use and lightweight design of this dryer!

If you are looking for a dryer, just to dry your hair and do it quickly, this is the dryer for you. You will dry your hair very quickly. But be prepared to grab the scissors to cut the tangles. I bought this hair dryer because I wanted to use a tool that was better than the conair dryers I had used most of my life. I have very long hair that I blowout with a round brush and sometimes with a paddle brush. There are only two speeds, high and low. These speed settings are more like wind tunnel and light breeze. And heat settings are hot, warm, and cool; which are more like inferno, cool, and cold. On high, my hair whips around so much, that it becomes a tangled mess. On low, the dryer barely blows at all and is WAY TOO HOT on the low speed. So I tried to compromise by using low speed on warm, but takes way too long to dry hair and not hot enough to dry or style.

I finally have found a hair dryer that works on my straight, gray hair without leaving any flyaways or frizzies. I have had more expensive as well as cheaper hair dryers, and none of them ever dried my hair quite like this Rusk W8less which may be because of the ceramic/tourmaline which leaves my hair feeling really healthy. The fact that it is lightweight is a definite plus, and I do not find it any more noisy than any other hair dryer. Kudos to the Ulta associate who helped me narrow down my selection to this dryer!
I would buy again

I usually don't complete a review when I initially receive a product. Now that it's been several months close to a year using this dryer my hair's condition is still great. I would normally do a wash and go with my 3C/4a type (air dry for 4 hours) then follow up with diffusing to complete the drying process. I would normally use the cool setting high speed for about 20 minutes then afterword with hot setting low speed for 10 minutes. My hair is thick and bra stap length. I'm satisfied and I got my money's worth.
Thought this would be great

Based on reviews I ordered this thinking it would be a great hairdryer. Unfortunately it didn't dry my hair smooth at all. I did give it a week just to see... but used my older hairdryer today instead which dried it much smoother . I'll be returning and trying to find a better new hairdryer.
Hardly any fly aways!

I'd had my last dryer for many years- it was expensive at the time and I thought worked great... this one leaves much less fly aways and it has 3 heat options plus a cool blast. I did a lot of research and read reviews before I bought and this one worked out with being just what I was looking for!
The reviews are true

The hair dryer is definitely quiet and powerful. My hair is naturally wavy to curly and this makes my hair smooth and shiny. I use the lowest heat setting and it still gets the job done. The dry time is also noticibky reduced without the need to heat style. The attachment is loose but I don't think I've ever had a dryer that held on to it's attachment.
Very light weight

I love this dryer so far. Gets very hot and is also powerful. My hair tends to frizz with some dryers but this smoothed it out well. It's also very lightweight which is a plus for me.

I absolutely love this hairdryer! It is lightweight and quite strong. I travel a lot and I'm not particularly gentle with my luggage so the poor thing has taken a beating over the years, yet it still functions as when it was brand new.
I love it!

I have curly/wavy hair and this hairdryer cut the frizz in half for me. I am so pleased!
Very good hair dryer.

I like that the dryer is very lightweight. Two heat & speed selections are just enough for me. Dries hair in a normal length of time.

I've had this hair dryer at least 8 years, and it finally died today. No complaints!
Best hair dryer
Jen from West Chester, Pa
This is the best hair dryer I've used. It gives a professional finish to your hair. I only use a straightener to get those small pesky hairs in line. One reviewer said something about a burning smell... I found if using a "closed" brush like a paddle brush, you will get that smell if you hold the dryer too close to your hair. So don't and you really don't have to. It's lightweight and much quieter than previous dryers.
Fast and lightweight

This blowdryer is pretty good at how fast it gets the job done and the results are great! It left my hair feeling soft and not so heavy like other blow dryers leave my hair feeling. It does get pretty hot so choose your setting wisely. Definitely worth the extra $50 spent!

I purchased this dryer about 8 years ago and I am just now having to replace it. The low setting is starting to sound like it's not working properly. It is lightweight and fits my hands perfectly. Highly recommend.
Would definitely buy again!

I use this after using Palmers Coconut oil repair conditioner as a deep treatment , then I use L'Oréal heat protectant spray !
Best hair dryer I've owned!

I purchased this hair dryer after my Hot Tools hair dryer quit working after less than a year of use. In fact, because my very thick hair takes a long time to dry, I've been through many hair dryers over the years. This Rusk hair dryer is quieter and lighter, but dries my hair in a fraction of the time of any other hair dryer I've owned.
The best hairdryer ever

Got this hairdryer in January 2012 and still using it! Dries my long, thick hair quickly, even on the low setting. Also like that it doesn't weigh very much. Will purchase again when mine quits working.

I had this dryer for four years and it was fabulous. It took a LOT of falls and finally the temperature regulator died. I bought a beautiful special edition Drybar hairdryer and had it for a year and hate it, it is nowhere near as good as this one. I'm going back!
So-so hair dryer

Decent dryer. Nozzle where hot air comes out if very small compared to other dryers. It blows my fine hair around and creates tangles. Probably a good dryer for people with thicker hair.

My sister bought this one for me for Christmas 2 years ago and I love it! Saves so much time! I used my Mom's the other day and knew she needed to get this one! It's worth every penny! Don't hesitate!

I purchased this dryer because the lady who does my hair has one and she always just lets me dry my hair after cutting it. It is so perfect because it has two levels of power and two levels of heat so you can make the perfect mode for what you need to do. It is solid yet lightweight and works awesome. My hair dresser has had hers for over two years using it all day and it still works perfectly so I am confident this will last me years. I highly recommend this amazing dryer.
Don't buy it
Kate from Houston TX
This hair dryer is a source of constant frustration because the concentrator attachment falls off 6 or 7 times while I am drying my hair. It typically flies off while the dryer is on. I have to stop the dryer, chase it down, pick up the burning hot piece of plastic, reattach it and continue. Six times! Even the screen on the back of the dryer falls off frequently. I will never buy this brand again
