Most Helpful Positive Review Great!
So, I only do brightly colored fashion brows now--my favorite products for doing this are the Inglot Gel liners. However, even with their range there are only so many Inglot colors, so I ventured into the Nyx for just the right shade of bright purple to match my old hair color.
I use products such as this basically like ABH Dipbrow--the Inglot is MUCH creamier and easier to apply than Dipbrow, however (which is perfect since you need to coat your natural hairs to change the color, not merely enhance as you would with Dipbrow). My main issue with the Nyx Vivid Brights is that it is MUCH dryer/stiffer than the Inglot, and therefore a lot harder to apply whether you are using it for brows, as a liner, or as a shadow base. I have learned to remedy this by using about 1/8th of a drop of Inglot Duraline and mixing with the Vivid Brights on a metal palette. It is a little bit of a hassle--even though I use a palette every day for brows, the mixing is more work--but the color is so beautiful and it last so well throughout the day it is worth it to me when I want one of the colors of brows I only have in Vivid Brights. I am stopped constantly and complimented on my brows whether I use the Nyx or the Inglot. An upside to having to use the Duraline with the Nyx is that I can control the consistency much more than with the Inglot, which makes the product easier to control on my brows.
All in all, I wish the texture/consistency was a bit creamier....."looser" or "thinner" would be a good word, I guess. But a significant upside is that it doesn't seem to dry out as crazy quickly as the Inglot gel liners do--when you have over a dozen of these types of products for your brows, you can't possibly use an entire container in a few months, and the Inglot ones are all cracking inside of their little pots. The Nyx, however, literally still looks absolutely brand new--hence why I am back buying my 3rd, 4th, and 5th shades of the Nyx Vivid Brights!
Most Helpful Critical Review Stained my skin!!!!
Bought the bright neon pink one for a Sugar Skull makeup look for a Day of the Dead party I am going to... primer, base and a waterproof gel eyeliner were underneath it and it still stained my skin pink. My eyelids and dots around my eyes were magenta. I used everything from micellar water, waterproof makeup remover, straight up coconut oil and apricot scrub to remove it and it didn't budge. My skin was stained for 3 days.

This was supposed to be a cream eyeliner. It was dry and unusable. I am currently using a Maybelline cream eyeliner but wanted some colored eyeliner. Purchased this and other color. When I tried to use it, I could really apply it because it was dry and it looked awful.
Will return...it was very dry and hard to apply!

Dry and hard to apply.
Last time a buy this product was dried out 😢
..... from Los Angeles Ca
Use it as regular eyeliner, I've tried wetting my brush which makes it a little easier to apply but it's still super dried out maybe the one I got just wasn't good.
Disappointed in color and pigment saturation
FaceNHair from KS
I was hoping this could be a dupe for a discontinued MAC fluidline color. I ordered Bad Blood which appeared to be a deep oxblood red In the photo/description but it's more of a barely rust red. The pigment is subpar unfortunately even if it was the right shade. It doesn't glide well.
Would buy again

It's hard to find a matte eyeshadow without sparkles and this one is great !!!
Feels like putting on makeup with a crayon

Very disappointed with this product from NYX. It's so dry! As pretty as the colors are, I do not recommend to anyone

This product was so hard to get on the brush! When I was applying the product on my lids it would literally ball up. I had this product for a few days when I opened to give it a second chance the top layer was dry !!! Wouldn't recommend!
sliceofcherry from wausau
way too dry to do anything with and that was one the first day I bought them. unsure if I just bought old ones or what.
Dried out in a month - unusable.

Bought two amazing colors that completely dried out and became unusable within about a month. Can't use them as creme shadows or even as a liner anymore, they've become tacky and chunky and impossible to work with.
MHerb from Maryland
Creamy and good color pigmentation! Especially for the price.

i purchased this for a phantasy look i wanted to create. it is very pigmented just how i wanted it to be. it is very sticky and it was somewhat a little hard to apply, but i did apply primer before i dapped it on my eye so it helped. i read that it was hard to come off as well. so i took my makeup off with a makeup wipe remover, and tried removing whatever i could of the creme color. then used my micellar cleansing water to remove it and it came off, only problem is that there was visible stains on my face. i washed it off with my daily face wash and it came off completely. so yes its some work to get it off but it worked well for what i needed it for. and its not that bad but it could of been better.
Not a crème

Some of them are super dry, you can even take pigment and other ones are impossible to apply, the colours are amazing but you can't use them
Avoid This Stuff

Worst NYX product I've used. Impossible to apply, warming it up does not help. Dry, crumbly, unblendable. Then, good luck getting it off your face and brushes. NYX rocks, but this doesn't.

Very dry and sticky texture, not smooth or creamy! Doesn't glide or spread easily, so it doesn't go on evenly at all! You have to push really hard to get any color to deposit on your eyes. It tugs on eyelids and just looks cakey and chunky if you can even get it off the brush. Absolutely horrible. Do not waste your money!

I only tried one shade which was Bad Blood. I was so excited to use it in looks during the fall. The first two times I used it went well, it was a beautiful shade that applied nicely. But by the third time it had dried out and become one hard lump almost. It was very disappointing considering the amount of times I actually got to use it.

I bought this for my sister and she loves the color. Purchased with an angle brush for easy application.

I bought this for some Halloween makeup, and honestly I was nervous, because it's so vivid. I was scared it would go on too heavy, especially since it's a cream. But it glides on very smoothly and lightly, so you can keep adding more color to your likeness. It was perfect for my Iron Man costume look!

The product doesn't have the best smell but I'm not worried about that. It's a little clumpy so beware of how much product you put on at a time. Other than that, once you finish your creative look, It's beautiful! It's high pigment, last long & pops out!
Dry and tough
My My My from Washington State
Tough, dry texture. Brutal to apply and doesn't blend.
Great for preforming, cosplay, and theatrical makeup

So i agree that it's a little dry and doesn't go on easily at first, but once you work with it and stir up the product a little it isn't a bad product. I use this product while preforming on stage every week so I need it to not smudge during costume changes, not fad and be pigmented to be seen from far away. This product does all these things. The down side is it's not the easiest to get off, because it's so thick.
I'm happy with my product, but I don't think it would be the best for every day basic make-up.
can barely get it out of the container.

I was really really excited because i love the vivid brights liquid liner but i was sorely let down): i love nyx but this product was dry and i could barely get it on the brush to even truly apply. i tried water to activate it and that didn't work, it rolled off the product like it was plastic. i tried a setting spray and it didn't soak that up either. i was so hyped to do some super sick looks with this product and i'm very saddened that money was wasted on this product. i love your brand but this product was horrible.
Packaging changed - much better!

These used to be super dry and waxy with very little color payoff. Now, there's a clear film over the product when you first open it and this prevents it from drying out before you get to use it!
It's very creamy with a lot of pigment. I bought blueprint, sugar rush and the green one (sticker with name was missing). I searched them on my hand and wore the swatches all day and no smudging!
I plan to use these as eyebrow pomade since I have mermaid hair. They have the perfect consistency and color payoff, imo.
I only have 2 concerns - I'm afraid they'll dry out fast, since the film is no longer in place. If they do, will they be as icky as before? Also, I really wish there were more colors. Like a royal blue, a true purple (sugar rush is lilac), a brighter green and so on. They're called "vivid brights" so it would be nice to have BRIGHT colors as well as the pastels and darker shades the already have. The only bright one is the orange, imo.

I put this on once and my eyes have been red and irritated for 2 days!! They literally hurt. I usually like NYX products, but this one sucks.

I bought shades Blueprint & Cyberpop, and I really like them. The formula is dry but I mostly use these for eyeliner so it works well for me. But if you're looking for something that you can pack on your lid this isn't for you.
Beware of staining
EmilyWolf from Los Angeles
I got this in the shade mint and it was a disaster. I'm a makeup artist and I've never experienced a product leaving such horrible stains. My face and fingers were noticeably stained for days.
