Most Helpful Positive Review Great! So, I only do brightly colored fashion brows now--my favorite products for doing this are the Inglot Gel liners. However, even with their range there are only so many Inglot colors, so I ventured into the Nyx for just the right shade of bright purple to match my old hair color.
I use products such as this basically like ABH Dipbrow--the Inglot is MUCH creamier and easier to apply than Dipbrow, however (which is perfect since you need to coat your natural hairs to change the color, not merely enhance as you would with Dipbrow). My main issue with the Nyx Vivid Brights is that it is MUCH dryer/stiffer than the Inglot, and therefore a lot harder to apply whether you are using it for brows, as a liner, or as a shadow base. I have learned to remedy this by using about 1/8th of a drop of Inglot Duraline and mixing with the Vivid Brights on a metal palette. It is a little bit of a hassle--even though I use a palette every day for brows, the mixing is more work--but the color is so beautiful and it last so well throughout the day it is worth it to me when I want one of the colors of brows I only have in Vivid Brights. I am stopped constantly and complimented on my brows whether I use the Nyx or the Inglot. An upside to having to use the Duraline with the Nyx is that I can control the consistency much more than with the Inglot, which makes the product easier to control on my brows.
All in all, I wish the texture/consistency was a bit creamier....."looser" or "thinner" would be a good word, I guess. But a significant upside is that it doesn't seem to dry out as crazy quickly as the Inglot gel liners do--when you have over a dozen of these types of products for your brows, you can't possibly use an entire container in a few months, and the Inglot ones are all cracking inside of their little pots. The Nyx, however, literally still looks absolutely brand new--hence why I am back buying my 3rd, 4th, and 5th shades of the Nyx Vivid Brights!
Most Helpful Critical Review Stained my skin!!!! Bought the bright neon pink one for a Sugar Skull makeup look for a Day of the Dead party I am going to... primer, base and a waterproof gel eyeliner were underneath it and it still stained my skin pink. My eyelids and dots around my eyes were magenta. I used everything from micellar water, waterproof makeup remover, straight up coconut oil and apricot scrub to remove it and it didn't budge. My skin was stained for 3 days.

I bought this you use with an angled brush for eyeliner. It was very dry and wasn't easy to apply. I switched it up and tried it as a shadow but could not get it to blend out. All in all I won't be using it again.
Nice pigmentation stays long time 5

It's a long lasting eye cream shadow
Tricky but Pigmented 3
Hannahween365 from South Carolina
I love the color, depending on what it's paired with it can appear more pink or more orange which is nifty. But, and maybe it's the brush I used, it's very difficult to apply without raking the brush across my lid or digging into the pot to get the product. It didn't come with instructions so I don't know if maybe I'm supposed to use a wet brush instead of a dry one.
Suuuuucks! 1

DO NOT BUY. Does not have apply well. Or blend, I even tried to use it as eyeshadow or even eyeliner it just does not work well at all and when you do apply it; it does start to crumble. DO NOT BUY. Just spend that extra money on the KVD pomade.

I use this to mix into white foundation to paint my face pink lol, it works great that way.
I use it as liner with a Colourpop E6 angled liner brush as well but you can't go over it too much because it starts to lift up, works fine if you set it using a pink pigment (because its a cream product)
packaging is wasteful tho, inglot liners contain more product and they're in smaller jars than these NYX liners
Dry and Unworkable 3
Emaline from Indiana
This product is the worst Nyx product I have ever used. It is dry and unworkable. Patchy and when you put eyeshadow on top it just breaks up.
Dry 1

Did not apply well or pick up on my brushes. The formula felt dry and I expected it to be easier to work with. Also tried wetting my brush but it did not help much.
No more pins in my orders 5

Not great as an eyeliner 2
CherryBoo from Dallas
I use eyeliner like crazy. Thick eyeliner too. And I wanted to try a new color and I saw that these could be used as eyeliner too. Was absolutely too dry and patchy to apply as eyeliner. Plus it took FOREVER to get a decent coverage. I had to set it with an eyeshadow color that was similar so it wouldn't transfer. I heard people say it's better as an eye shadow base and I will agree that it does. But that wasn't what I was wanting it for.
How is this even a selling product? 1

Honestly, this was awful. It felt like trying to use candle wax, or clay, as makeup. The viscosity was insane; I don't even understand how this is a make-up product. It also stains your skin. When you're taking it off, you might as well just exfoliate a good few skin layers off while you're at it.
0 stars if I could... 1

I bought the dark maroon color and the mauvey lavender and I'm soooooo disappointed. If I hadn't lost my receipt I would've set the world record for quickest return. The lavender ruined my nice Mac concealer brush I tried to use it with and I had to push so hard on it for it to even get on my brush a little bit. The maroon color appeared like it would be creamy and nice to use but was actually ROCK HARD and I couldn't get it onto any brush no matter how hard I tried. The lavender was also hard but pulled my eyelid skin when I tried to apply it. Such a waste of money and huge disappointment.
Won't come off, color inaccurate 1

I ordered this in Cyperpop, which looks like a bright orange. In person it's more like coral. It also won't budge for ANYthing. I wanted to mix it with another product but because it wasn't really orange, it didn't work. But after I used micellar water 3 times, there was still coral-colored residue on my skin! I ended up having to remove the rest with rubbing alcohol. Avoid this!
Takes your eyeshadow game to another level 4

Makes your eyeshadow more vibrant but could be a little creamier in texture
Great color but lacking in texture. Dry and waxy 2
anonymous from kingston, ny
Great color payoff but the product dries out immediately in the pot and gets very sticky/waxy. I found that I either had to really tug at my lids to get it on, or I had to warm up the product somehow. I suppose you could microwave it but I usually just warm it with my hands/clean fingers. It's still a shame since the pigmentation is fantastic. I wish the texture was as creamy as it claims.
Don't do it 3

Seriously, don't. Was already clumpy and drying after 1st use. I wish they would reformulate though because it's a gorgeous color.
Super dry 1

I bought to film a look for my YouTube channel and it felt like I was drawing on my face with a piece of chalk
I would never purchase this color again! 1
Edisongreyy from Fall river,MA
I wish this was the same texture as the blue creme because the blue was so much easier to pick up and apply to the lid.
Avoid this eyeliner 2
Jazzy from California
It was super dry. I kept trying to add primer oil to make it work and it just wasn't worth it for the color anymore.
DO NOT BUY 1
Alli from Gainesville FL
I tried this product as a neon liner. And as soon as my brush touched the product I knew it would all go down hill. The product was dry and hard to get on the brush. Once applied, I had to build up to get a beautiful color, but the end result looked cakey. It looked like if I added anymore the product would just flake off my lids. Mind you I had the NYX eye primer on my lids.

Like a crayon 1
Catherine from Alaska
This had no pigment and destroyed my makeup brush. I put water on it and tried to mix it around but it didn't want to absorb the water.

This was supposed to be a cream eyeliner. It was dry and unusable. I am currently using a Maybelline cream eyeliner but wanted some colored eyeliner. Purchased this and other color. When I tried to use it, I could really apply it because it was dry and it looked awful.
