Not as Hydrating as I Hoped

By Adrien

from OK

Comments about First Aid Beauty Vitamin Hydrating Mist:

I bought this product since I need to refresh my face around midday or when it's dry out, and hoped this would help. It's definitely not a bad product and I actually like it just fine, but I don't find it to be very hydrating especially over makeup which was my original reason for purchasing this. I find it leaves my face feeling somewhat tight when I apply over makeup, however it does not do this when I have not applied makeup. I did not experience any negative effects but I will likely not repurchase since it doesn't quite do what I was needing it to.

Comments about First Aid Beauty Vitamin Hydrating Mist:

I purchased this spray directly from FAB's website because they sell it for only $8 vs Ulta selling it for $16. I had never tried it before, but was not willing to pay $16 for it. My skin can get pretty oily, so I only use matte finish makeup. Since I don't like how matte products can make your skin appear dull, I like to use this spray as a setting spray for my makeup to add some dewiness back into my skin. It definitely doesn't give you long lasting hydration, but just enough to add a little glow in your skin and to wake you up in the morning. The only thing I really hate about this product (besides the insane price) is that it smells horrible. It's one of the worst smelling beauty products I've ever used. I actually prefer their vital greens spray over this one. It does the same thing but smells really good. That being said, FAB sells this product for only $8 on their website, so until the vital greens spray drops in price I'll keep using this hydrating spray.

Comments about First Aid Beauty Vitamin Hydrating Mist:

I purchased this item on clearance shelves at ULTA. The mist goes well on the skin and is absorbed quickly. However, it is not long lasting. I had to spray several times throughout the day to get a good result. I think that the price was worth the item, but next time I will spend a little more for a better product.
