Most Helpful Positive Review Truly amazing. You just have to know HOW to use it.
When I use this product, I first apply The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution using a cotton pad. I give it just a moment to rest and then apply a light layer of Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 solution, and give that just a moment to rest. Finally, I apply just a pea-size amount of the Vitamin C Suspension, and gently rub it in a circular motion all over my face. The combination of these three products produce an INCREDIBLE exfoliating effect. Any and all dead skin cells on my face begin to sluff off onto my finger tips as I apply this final product, with a slight tingling senstation. I do have very sensitive skin, and the first time I was shocked by this; but it is not overwhelming and it does not leave my skin irritated. In the end, I'm left with absolutely glowing, positively hydrated and completely exfoliated skin. Highly, highly reccomend! I don't know what I would do without it.
Most Helpful Critical Review Feels So Weird & Clogs Pores
An Ulta skin care specialist recommended this to me. I have used the product for a couple weeks at night after cleansing and toning then follow up with a hydrating moisturizer. The silicone mixture feels so gritty and applies unevenly because of the thickness of the product. It does this weird sinking thing where you try to spread it but the silicone just balls up, but if you let it sit on your skin, the Vitamin C part I guess melts away from the silicone. I end up having to wipe away the silicone and I wonder if my skin even got to absorb the Vitamin C before the silicone filled up my pores. I have not seen any changes in my skin.

I loveeeeee this product! This thing STINGS if you're have a pore you just unclogged, a small cut, or a pimple freshly popped. But nonetheless, it works perfectly even for my oily skin.
I got this for my acne scars and after summer 2019, i got this huge sun spot (BLOTCH!) that forming. I first thought it was cute but then I really wanted to get rid of it. I started May 2020 and after 6 months I'm really impressed!
I use it in the AM right after toner, i then moisturize with a water based moisturizer ASAPPPP in order to let the hydrating properties seep through the silicone before a hard barrier forms. Enjoy the before and after! Make sure if silicone is right for your skin type!
Great with one problem

In terms of how it feels on your skin this might be the worst product in creation. Well, this or the suspension in HA. I use it at night so that doesn't affect me. I've used it to fade scars on my face and body and it has done a great job. Do t try and use it under makeup though because it pills and looks terrible. If you're not used to Vitamin C it will sting. It's better to build up a tolerance using weaker concentrations. I use it as a spot corrector and it's been very effective.
It works- just not for sensitive skin
Lauren from Philadelphia
This stuff really cleared up dark spots for me. I used a very VERY small amount because it is strong. However I've noticed a difference in my skin. I would recommend!
Not for me

I love the other products from this line but this one left my skin really red. I wasn't able to keep it on due to it burning. It left my skin very dry
Not for sensitive skin
Machri from Bellevue, WA
Kind of bought this version by accident. DO NOT buy if you have SENSITIVE SKIN! After applying two times and stinging (which it might do at the beginning) I had so much dead skin in my hand. Will start with a more oily version and way less concentrated. I did like the texture a lot, the Aqualand makes it go nicely onto the skin, gets absorbed quickly and the skin feels silky.
They should discontinue this.

I thought the silicone would make it go on smooth but it actually balls up into tiny flakes on your skin.
Not for beginners
Gg from No
Just not very beginner friendly kinda difficult to know exactly how to use and it's a strange texture
Good and Bad
Toria77 from California
Good: It totally works and it usually lays on my skin nicely. Bad: it does pill sometimes if my face isn't completely dry when applying, however the smell will keep me from buying it again. It may be unscented with no artificial fragrance, but there is a smell and it's a no from me.

I have been looking for a vitamin c serum/lotion to help fade some sun spots on my face, and I found it! This starting fading my sun spots in less than a week. 30% is pretty powerful, so I started out with a very small amount and just built up slowly over the course of the week. The addition of silicone makes it a great primer for makeup too. It has not pilled on me, even when applying something on top of it. I am still using a very minimal amount at this point, though. For the price, you should try it.

Don't get near eye area and your good to go. The texture is creamy and slightly greasy but not to bad given the great results it produces.
Give it Time
Vitamin C Review from Cleveland
I see a lot of comments saying people got instant breakouts. It's called purging, people. Anytime you use a product that speeds up skin cell turnover, your skin purges. If the breakouts are in areas you're prone to them (on my chin for me) then it's normal. Give it 3 weeks minimum to see the results.
Not for me
Jennifer from cleveland ohio
I have sensitive, combination skin. I have cystic acne around my mouth, my skin is sensitive and dry in most spots except my T zone where it can get oily. I am not a fan of the size of the product, but I did like the feel, consistancy, and weight of the product. Its didnt feel to thick. I put a very small amount on my skin, less than a dime size. My skin started to burn. I thought it would go away after a few mins. Then it got worse. Then it started to tingle and burn more. It may be a great product for some, but unfortunitally not for me.
Nice and smooth

I use this at night after cleaning my face. I rub a small amount in a circular motion. It clumps up after excessively rubbing due to the dead skin coming off.
Micki3 from Sacramento CA
This is a good compromise for a Vitamin C that isn't harsh. It has a slight stinging, but dissipates quickly. Sometimes there's no sting. The price is great!
breakout almost instantly

used exactly like direction said, after 5 mins of burning my skin 3 pimples popped up
Silky Clean Feel
SunnyGirl 87 from LA
I LOVE this product. It layers great over niacinamide & zinc and hyaluronic acid serums. Then, I apply a heavier Moisture Boost/hyaluronic acid based moisturizer. If you are sensitive, make sure you apply to dry skin. Also, be ware of using a Salicylic Acid cleanser at the same time. All of these acid serums should be slowly and cautiously added to your routine if you have sensitive skin or are new to acids. Watch some dermatology, aesthetician, skin care expert YouTube tutorials on layering and application for various skin types and need.
I LOVE the feel of this product. I am 56 and have combo skin. My goal is minimizing sun damage and treating sebaceous filaments and discoloration. This quickly made a difference in one sunspot!
Good but deceiving

Works great but you barely get any product
I keep going back to this product
Always April from Fort Worth TX
I use this product with a serum at night. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't cause any reactions. I use different night time moisturizers but this one does fade my dark spots and leaves my skin plump.
High Vit C percentage
Joan from Concord
Makes the skin looks smooth over time. Put a small amount, otherwise it will sting. I like it. First time using a vit C with 30%, seems high
Unfortunately, they ship through SurePost....

Ordered nearly a month ago online...have yet to receive it. I'll review the product once I get it. I so looked forward to having yet.
So far so good
Danielle from North Carolina
I put this on at night after washing my face. So far it seems to work well. It does slightly sting but if I put either a serum or moisturizer on it helps.
Press it into your face
Rebecca from Issaquah
This stuff is fine. I'm able to layer it on top of my priming moisturizer and under my sunscreen. My cheap sunscreen doesn't have any antioxidants, and I like to think this helps it work better. It's a good price for the quality, but I would not repurchase it. It's smells really bizarre (like maple syrup kind of.) Like all silicon products, it pills, but it's easy enough to pat in. I would definitely get a serum or even a lower percentage cream from them over this one. It does sting a bit, but has never visibly irritated my skin. It is in light safe packaging. I wouldn't use this with retinol or even at night. The silicone will keep your other products from penetrating depending on when you apply it. Also, retionol is going to be irritating and I can't imagine putting this also irritating product on top. You'll get the most out of this during the day.
Lauren from New Jersey
Not good at all. Completely beads up and looks like you have more product on your hand than your face. I would recommend using something different.
Maria from Kennewick, WA
This product made my face break out very bad. I have never had a reaction to a product. It's been a week since I used it and it has not cleared my face. It wasn't just a small break out, it was very bad and have never had a break out like it.
Gave me a rash
Breanna from Porter, TX
I'm not sure if it worked. It gave me a rash and I started itching pretty badly when I used it. It's not easy to use. It was hard to spread on to my face.
