Most Helpful Positive Review I have thrown out all my other nail polishes...
I have had a very difficult relationship with my nails.
- hate when they're not done.
- don't have the time to get manicures/ pedicures.
- after regular nail polish, my nails would be chipped the next day, and chipped nails are THE WORST.
- at home shellac kits are impossible to get off at the end of the week.
And then I met my nail's best friend- Vinylux.
- Can be done at home while working on the computer, plus the polish dries fast ✔︎
- do not chip for a week when used with topcoat. I kid you not. They don't. Washing dishes, opening cans and all. Your cuticles will grow out before this baby chips. ✔︎
- come off as easy as regular nail polish ✔︎
So, I donated all of my old nail polish to Polished Girls, and committed to Vinylux.
Some trouble shooting...
- If it chips- make sure you use the brand's top coat, and don't use ANY base coat (it negates the stickyness).
- if it's not opaque enough: These polishes come in "sheer", "semi-sheer", and "opaque". These classifications are not written on the bottles, you have to go to the vinylux website to find out which colors are what.
- Some colors do not look the same on the nail as they do in the bottle- I google the colors I like, which usually brings up pictures of the polish on real human hands, and I pick my colors that way. A hassle, but works.
Most Helpful Critical Review Cake Pop and top coat
Great selection of colors, but this polish will chip within hours of application. It applies unevenly and streaky, no matter how many times you coat your nail. I guess this is good if you never use your hands for anything. Otherwise, it will chip easily! I applied the top coat and it still smeared.

I really like this nail polish. It goes on smoothly and dries quickly. I did have a small chip after 2 days On my finger, but I am ridiculously rough on my hands. My toes on the other hand are probably on day 8 and looking perfect. Wildfire is my new go-to
Jackie from Battle Creek, MI
This product is great if you are only using it for an event or special occasion. It has a wide variety of shades and goes on smooth, however it peels off so easily. I have had to redo individual nails countless times within the last week and I am not pleased. Waste of money.
Allie from Texas
It took me like 4 coats to even get any color payoff, and it was very streaky. Took forever to dry and even the next day it still scrunched up like it wasn't dried and then chipped off. For how expensive it was it should've work waaay better. I've had $1 polishes work better than this! Don't buy these.
Certainly a fan from NY
I hate gel manicures because they destroy the nail over time. Regular manicures chip very quickly for me as I work in food service and do dishes etc daily.
Vinylux dries super quickly and I am often asked if I have gotten a manicure! Which is a bonus. When done correctly, my nails look great and hold up for a full week.
2 problems along the way, totally fixable but only if you are aware of the problems -- spoiler alert, both are user error
1. your nails **really** need to be clean and dry. I usually swipe them with rubbing alcohol and then acetone before using vinylux. It doesn't chip or peel with proper prep. Without the pre-wipe, I found vinylux peeled off of my nails super easily- it dried and hardened, but after a day of doing dishes, the whole nail could be peeled off in one piece.
2. If you are on the slower side when doing your nails, this brand may not be for you. If either bottle is left open too long, they get goopy and sad, leaving you painting tons on for it to never *quite* harden, denting throughout the day. I wasted quite a bit of topcoat when I first started using this brand because I didn't realize it was a speed thing.
I have always found the colors nice, would love more selection eventually tho. If used correctly, worth it for me personally!
Love this polish!

This product actually stays on my nails!
Holds up well
Cannabri from Seattle, WA
I work with my hands a lot so cheap polish is never a possibility for me. I found this brand and fell in love. No base coat needed which is nice. The polish by itself dries like vinyl so it was weird to me at first. Once you apply the matching top coat it's the perfect smooth texture. With how much I use my hands at work, I may get small chips and wear at the tips but it holds up better than any standard polish. Their matte topcoat is also amazing btw.
Amateur gone Pro

I am your typical polish AMATEUR. My left hand typically looks passable while my right looks like a childs preschool project of color in the lines. Not with this polish! Now I am not a miracle worker and this polish wont be either, so my right hand is still not as sleek as the left, but darn a few more practices and I think I might be the next home mani prodigy. The rounded ends of the applicator brush combined with the flatness of it - legit can almost do a coat in one swipe of the hand as it fans out to fit the nail shape perfectly! Pinky was one swipe! Okay so the key with this is FAST application. Don't wring out a lot of the polish, only the back side and a little tap on the inside lip of the application side you're using. Quickly swipe your nail with it - the longer you take the quicker it oxidizes. Once I figured this out I was golden! I haven't had it on long to know its staying power but darnit the application was smooth like a babies bottom!
Best stay on nail polish

I just discovered this brand and I love it. I have a hard time with nail polish staying on my nails. I can actually get 5 days wear out of this.
Favorite nail polish!

Love this color and this brand. It truly last a week but using the top coat prolongs the life and the shiny look longer.
Nail polish only last two days
Kandi from ILLINOIS
I wore this nail polish for two days and it started to chip.
I want to give it five stars but..
Kay M from NY
I don't know if I bought an older bottle on the shelf but the consistency of the polish was very thick and didn't go on well. It does say to shake the bottle but that usually causes bubbling in other polishes so I did a light roll to mix like I do with others. If you're not good at applying nail polish, you might have a tough time getting even coverage. That's the only con but a big one. I did prep my nails first with a light file to add a little texture before painting. The polish dried pretty quickly which is a huge plus, very glossy, and I'm going on day seven only just starting to wear on the edges and very tiny chips along the cuticle where it's starting to grow out. Considering I work in a warehouse, I did not expect it to last the full seven days. I'm going to purchase more colors and am hoping others are easier to apply. But, all in all, I am happy with it.
Waste of money!!!
Lisa from Texas
Total waste of money!! I bought the long wear top coat and 2 long wear colors. Over 30.00 there. This stuff streaks when applying, shows ridge lines, and the top coat takes off the polish in areas! To add insult to injury, it chipped in one day! I tried it twice.
So, I'm back to just a clear coat strengthener on my nails. Don't waste your time, or money on this falsley advertised product! It's a major rip off!!
Too pricey for polish that wears off quickly
Laurie from Connecticut
Really had high hopes for this brand. Colors are great. Quality, not so much. Will not be buying this again
I love the color and that it dries fast.
Sue from Cedar Rapids, IA
Perfect color and long lasting.
Hands down best polish! Want more colors!!!
Jen from Nj
Hands down best nail polish. I hope they come out with more colors! Some kind of bright flirty orange/red? The polish goes on so smooth - dries so fast and one coat is all I need. Lasts long I clean every other day and it stays put! It's awesome. I use 100% acetone for removing polish and other polish's take a lot of effort to come off- this one with one glide is easy please. The best part is it's not tested on animals. THANK YOU - TRY IT!!!
This polish is pretty bad
Michell from Piscataway, NJ
This review is for the Mint Convertible color. In the bottle, it's a beautiful dusty mint. But it was impossible for me to paint my nails with this polish! The formula is super streaky and the brush is too hard. I've been painting my nails for over 20 years and consider myself to be pretty good at it at this point. But this polish was so annoying to use and produced such an ugly mess on my nails that I just couldn't wear it. I did three thin coats as per the instructions, with a base coat. I never even got to the top coat since it was so horrible looking. Maybe the other colors are easier to use, but this mint green was a huge fail.
JavertPA from York, PA
This polish gives me a longer lasting home manicure than any other brand I have tried. Be sure to use the color coat on bare nails and use the Vinylux top coat for best results.
Great. color and coverage
