Most Helpful Positive Review My New Vice! Let's start with the packaging. It is definitely top notch and alot of thought and care went into it. The color is lovely, the aesthetic appeal is spot on. I purchased three colors; Lovechild, Physique and Stacked. I felt these would be the best fit for my age, (54) coloring, (fair) and eyes, (blue).
When you twist open the package you are met with an applicator that is typical of most glosses, not a doe foot, but a flat applicator sponge which is fine since this is more of an oil/stain.
Upon application you will feel a balm like glide. Very pleasant. There is a slight chemical scent but you really have to inhale deeply to smell it. There is not a chemical taste on the lips after application.
The color does take a few minutes to change completely. I ended up with a lovely blush color after using Lovechild. Muted and perfect for work. My lips felt so soft and hydrated.
You will need to apply as needed throughout the day due to this being more of an oil based product, but I am fine with that.
I love the way my lips look and feel, healthy, natural, me but better.
Highly recommend.
Most Helpful Critical Review Unexpected but unique! I'll start by saying I didn't have high expectations for this product. Most self-adjusting color products I've tried have been garbage. They've always turned a very bright pink or purple on me, and they were not all flattering. I was so psyched to see light nude shades though that I still wanted to try and get that "perfect nude" from this product.
While I picked the second lightest shade with a peach undertone, the color I got on my lips was totally unexpected. It's basically the color of my lips but with a correction to cancel out the drab purple tone I've always hated. My lips look like they're naturally a perfect subtle red. Nude? No. Natural? Probably not. Beautiful? Yes. For me, this is a way to wear red lipstick without actually trying to find a good red. The formula is weightless, the gloss is noticeable but not glassy, and my lips feel great.
I rated this only three stars because the colors these glosses are supposed to resemble are NOT what they turn into. At all. Also, I feel like there's not enough differences in the shades to justify buying more than one. Swatching them on the hand shows this pretty easily.
All this being said, I love the shade I picked up (Saucey), I feel really pretty wearing it, and I will repurchase and MAYBE pick up Low Key as well. This is a unique product, the packaging is gorgeous, and it's suitable for so many looks (I'm wearing just this and it's not weird at all). I also think this is suitable for many ages because it's subtle but not boring. Younger girls could wear it without it being too mature, but grown women could wear it and feel just a little more polished but not "made up". I'm a little bummed that it's not what I thought it was, but I'm thrilled to have found a way to wear a little more color than just nude.

Product goes on smooth and is easily spreadable. I love that it is a stain but didn't have an ink like effect on my lips like some others I've tried. The initial shine finish is lovely but not sticky at all; almost feels like a balm once on your lips. Even after the shine fades, you are left with a pretty flush of color. I'm lazy and don't reapply during the day but all I need now is a swipe of my regular lip balm on top.

I got this in colors Third Base & 21. Third Base is a little light for my taste, but still very pretty & flattering. I absolutely love the color 21, it's a perfect deep rose (almost red). My only complaint is that while it feels very moisturizing & soft when it goes on, after hours it actually leaves my lips feeling almost chapped (not sure why?) but just keep your favorite gloss or lip oil handy, apply it over the stain (after the glossiness wears off) and it's perfect again!

Hands down one of my favorite lip stains/glosses! I have a couple of these now, can't wait to collect all the colors. It wears so comfortably and after the initial glossiness fades, you're left with a really pretty stain that's unique to you and your skin's PH. Definitely an underrated product.

As a first time user, I was very pleased with this product. I was looking for lip color that was more like a stain without the dry feeling or extreme stickiness of others I have tried.
This fits the bill. Moist color without being too dry or thick.

This product does exactly what it says it will do. I am an African American female with dry lips. This does not dry them out and the color stays as long as you are not eating or drinking. Even then, most of the color remains. If you touch your lips, all you will see on your finger is shine, no color. The color in the tube is different than what will appear on your lips. Apply and it will get darker as it sets.

It's hard to find a shade of red that doesn't look like a neon sign with my complexion. Found this and love it. it doesn't dry sticky to lips and actually last quite a while.

I got this product because I was looking for a sheer color product and this one is really nice! It's a nice wash of pink and is moisturizing but not sticky so it's not a problem for when I have to put a mask on. I'm interested in trying out a deeper color though to see how it plays out because this one is a bit subtle (which makes sense considering it's part of the Naked line).

I bought love child and physique. Both look like perfect nudes on my lips, are hydrating, and give a cute glossy look without being sticky. I agree with others who say they don't last super long, but the formula makes it easy to reapply without having to remove anything. Love them SO much.

I loved the packaging and actual shade of this tint, but i had to apply several coats just to get the color to look consistent, it's not pigmented. Granted it's a tint, so I'll definitely try again but I could not get the color to look even.

Save your money for a different lip stain. This lip stain will dry out fairly quickly - got clumpy in the bottle. The applicator became rough over time. The lip stain is faint, and doesn't last long.

I absolutely love this product. It's a lip stain/gloss and it has awesome staying power. I got the shade Love child and it shows as the perfect pinkish nude color on my lips which is exactly what I was looking for. I love that is not brave at all or tacky. Just perfect. UD never dissapoints.

I was really looking forward to trying this lip stain. It's beautiful!! Feels great once you've got it on and even. But, it's too much trouble compared to just putting some lipstick on real quick. It doesn't last as long as I had hoped. It won't be an everyday lip stain for me. I'm still on the hunt.

You really can't trust any swatches or pictures of this product on anyone but yourself. This product is a lip stain but it reacts to your body chemistry. So the color will look one way on you, and likely another way on your sister. I wanted to try Sideways based on the swatch. It was a brownish nude that caught my eye. I just tried it and not only wasn't it that brownish nude, it went on GRAY. That was a surprise, but not a problem because depending on the look I was going for, I'd wear it. Waited five minutes and it turned to a dark brown that I avoid when looking for lip colors. The red turns pink which defeats the purpose of it being described as red. This is a product that needs to be swatched and observed, but obviously that's not happening right now. IDK, it might be the most disappointing UD product ever for me, and I am a big fan for over 15 years.
