BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base is a liquid-to-powder blurring primer that instantly vanishes the appearance of pores, fine lines and imperfections. The feather-light formula leaves skin porcelain smooth with an airbrushed finish. This is your holy grail primer - not only does your makeup look better, it lasts longer. The ultimate primer for a long-lasting, airbrushed complexion. The brightening, apricot-hued formula is infused with pore-blurring powders that float over skin to diffuse light for a velvety smooth, soft focus finish. Oil-free yet hydrating, the primer helps absorb the appearance of excess oil and extend the wear of makeup keeping your look fresh and flawless throughout the day. This formula turns from lightweight liquid to powdered perfection in seconds.

Infused with sodium hyaluronate to help keep skin hydrated, antioxidant rich vitamin C and E, and soft-focus blurring powders to help absorb the appearance of excess oil. Works on all skin tones and skin types.

In a consumer study,* after use of Velvet Blurring Primer individuals agree that:
  • Makeup application was smoother
  • Makeup went on more evenly
  • Skin feels smoother
  • Skin looks smoother

*Consumer study of 30 individuals.
Shake well before use. Apply to clean dry skin as a primer or wear alone as a complexion blurring perfector. If applying after moisturizer, wait for moisturizer to fully absorb before applying the primer.

I love this primer, it is so smoothing and light on the skin. It blends out imperfections and I adore it however, on top of three different moisturizers it has pilled... without a moisturizer it's great!

Comments about BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base:

I used to think primers were a waste of money but I decided to splurge on this item since none of my foundations were applying well with my skin anymore. When I tested it on my hand, my skin texture disappear and it actually looked blurred! So that sold me on the product. I have noticed that my foundation stays in place much better and, paired with a good foundation, makes my skin look so smooth. This primer does dry matte, however, so if you have dry skin like me then the primer won't be as effective. If you take proper steps to moisterize your skin before applying makeup then this won't be much of a problem. It's still an amazing product!!

Comments about BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base:

LOVE this primer. I read the reviews here and it sounds like alot of people just dont understand how to apply this kind of primer. You spread it onto your skin and then PRESS it into your skin. It doesnt ball up that way. I have very large pores on and around my nose and this is amazing for blurring them out. And because it turns powdery, its great for helping keep my oily skin under control. Havent even finished my first bottle yet (been using it for months) and already made sure I have a backup on hand. I hope they never discontinue this. If you have large pores and/or oily skin, try this primer. Just make sure you know how to apply it. And dont over apply it, too.

i love this primer, it does add a blur to your skin when you put it on making your skin look smooth- i have oily skin and this makes my foundation last 8+ hrs. BUT there is not enough product on this bottle. the bottle measures 6 inches and it only comes with 1 oz. it is probably my fault for not reading the bottle, but the size is definitely misleading. even though i like the product, i wont be buying it again.

Comments about BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base:

This really balled up around my nose, and got super chunky around my forehead and chin. I've used many many primers before this one and none of them got chunky near my nose. This also started falling off throughout the day. You could see it balling up and flaking off after a few hours.
