BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base is a liquid-to-powder blurring primer that instantly vanishes the appearance of pores, fine lines and imperfections. The feather-light formula leaves skin porcelain smooth with an airbrushed finish. This is your holy grail primer - not only does your makeup look better, it lasts longer. The ultimate primer for a long-lasting, airbrushed complexion. The brightening, apricot-hued formula is infused with pore-blurring powders that float over skin to diffuse light for a velvety smooth, soft focus finish. Oil-free yet hydrating, the primer helps absorb the appearance of excess oil and extend the wear of makeup keeping your look fresh and flawless throughout the day. This formula turns from lightweight liquid to powdered perfection in seconds.

Infused with sodium hyaluronate to help keep skin hydrated, antioxidant rich vitamin C and E, and soft-focus blurring powders to help absorb the appearance of excess oil. Works on all skin tones and skin types.

In a consumer study,* after use of Velvet Blurring Primer individuals agree that:
  • Makeup application was smoother
  • Makeup went on more evenly
  • Skin feels smoother
  • Skin looks smoother

*Consumer study of 30 individuals.
Shake well before use. Apply to clean dry skin as a primer or wear alone as a complexion blurring perfector. If applying after moisturizer, wait for moisturizer to fully absorb before applying the primer.

This primer kind of reminds me of benefit porefessional. If I didn't have dry skin this would have worked for me but it just excensuated my dry patches and didnt mesh well with my foundation. Returned it.

Comments about BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base:

This primer is amazing! I have all of the becca primers, this one TOPS them all. It really smooths out your pores and makes your foundation last long. It reminds me of the Benefit Porefessional but a little bit goes a long way. I was skeptical until I took it home and tried it, now I LOVE IT!

          Disappointed

          By Talia

          from Denver Co

Comments about BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base:

I love Becca. I'm always tempted to try anything they sell and i needed a new primer so I purchased this. When putting it on it clumps up and creates an uneven base for my foundation. I've tried using different lotion before the primer and it didn't help.

Comments about BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base:

Please repackage this product! The pump sucks! It spatters out everywhere! I have to pump it into the palm of a cupped hand because I never know where it'll spray out. The product design is majorly flawed. I would like to see this in a squeeze tube. With that being said, I really like this primer. It goes on smooth and makes my foundation look flawless.

this product is so expensive you'd expect a good result. Instead the pump doesn't work and the primer splatters everywhere. The product itself is okay until after a while where it clumps your makeup.

Hi! I currently use the Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector for the primer in my beauty routine. What is the difference between that one and the Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base?

Does this primer work on dry skin, or does it cake up like every other matte primer on dry skin? Should I just stick to the backlight and firstlight primer?
