Most Helpful Positive Review Best curler! This is so cool I am very impressed with the performance of this cordless auto curler.
Packaging: This comes in a nice beautiful box which also includes a bag to store the curler when not in use.
Feature:
1• This gives the automatic curls with just a press the one button.
2• Safe and super easy to use.
3• Multidimensional swirling that will give the professional curl results at home.
4• This has double heat protection so no need to worry about burns.
5• Auto shut-off feature if not used for more than 15 minutes.
6• LCD display to show all settings i.e. heat, timer, battery level and curl directions.
7• Compact in size easily fits in your bag, and perfect to take wherever you go.
Overall performance:
Curling the hair was never easy for me I always struggle to get my hair curl at home. I always go to the saloon and spend money on curls. But now with this product, curling hair is super easy and fast. This is so easy to use you don't need any experience to use. Just go through the manual and you are all set to go. This comes with a 3 heat settings i.e. 320 degrees F for loose curls, 360 degrees F for medium, and 400 degrees F for the tight curls which I love the most. Just start with a small section of hair and insert it into the curler, simply press and hold the 'Start' button to start the curling. Hold the start button until you hear the 2 beep sound. Take out your hair after the beeps. Move down the curler slowly and gently release the curl. It's perfect because it informs when the curls are done. The best thing I have noticed is that curls last a long time for me. I used it in the morning and the curls last all day long. I am pretty happy with the run time of this curler which is about 50 minutes in a single charge. But the run time will vary based on heat setting and hair type as well. I have medium quality shoulder-length hair and is naturally straight so I am pretty happy with the run time of 50 minutes which is enough for me to curls the entire hair. The other best thing I noticed that it evenly distributed the heat to the hair and gives you the salon perfect results at home.
Tip:
Before using the curler fully charge the curler for best results.
I am really amazed by the performance of this auto curler and hair are never stuck in it. I would love to recommend this to everyone because of its overall performance and quality. Try it and I bet you will also love it like me.
Thanks to Conair for making this Auto cordless curler which makes curling easy and fast. Now no more trips to the salon for curls just use it anywhere anytime. This would be a great gift choice for your friends and family. I am sure everyone will love to have this.
Most Helpful Critical Review Returned I think this is a great idea, but still needs work. The barrel/rod/hot part is tiny. There is also this tiny slit your hair has to go through to get in the area it can be wound around the b/r/hp. Hair can only go in this slit one way. Because of that I could not curl the back of my hair. My arms just don't bend that way. I got awful tangles when I tried. You also have to use such small sections of hair (this thing only makes corkscrew curls by the way) it takes forever to curl. I did like that it was portable and has no cord. It would of stored away perfectly. I also liked that when I used it there is no way I could of burned myself unless I stuck my finger down inside the thing. I think with more work, it could be good. There needs to be more size options and a way to curl the back of the head easier.

I hate that this Curler get so much hate. there is a learning curve! Also this is not a curler that you curl root to end. it will not get close to your scalp!! I curl mainly the bottom of my hair and either fluff it out with fingers or comb for a wave

I have the worst hair for curling. It's pretty long (longest part at butt length) it's fine, but I have alot, or so that's what the stylists (who I PAID to get curls to hold, and couldn't make it happen) explained to me.
Trying to do my own hair with a regular wand? TORTURE! Between arms hurting, and hair getting caught, I dreaded curling my hair... until now!
This cobalt unbound is absolutely hands down THE BEAT CURLER ever!!.. The only downfall is the battery life isn't very long, so if you have very thick hair, it might be an issue, but mine lasted to the very end of my needs for a full head of curls, and still wasn't dead!
Try it! You won't regret it!
A huge no from me 1

I hated it!!! It didn't work decent in the least. Took it back immediately!
Poor battery 1
Medi from CA
It's easy to use but I cannot do my whole head without having to recharge in between. I'm skeptical of the 60 minute battery life because it takes me 15 minutes or less to do one side of my head and that takes up 75% of battery life. I will have to return this for that reason. Also you only get tight curls with this, no variety, and I the ends of hair often don't get curled
JUST AWFUL 1
Jenn from Oklahoma
I used it a few times without issue. I think it was the fourth time using this tool, my hair got caught in it and it got stuck!!! There is no release button.... I just had to yank small amounts out until I was free. Ridiculous. The curls were too tight for my liking.
It's a no from me dawg 1

Battery sucks. Curling doesn't work. It does one curl and then straight the whole rest of the strand. Will be returning. Sad because I really wanted it to work

When I tell you my hair has never and, I mean nevvverrr held a curl.....until this little beauty. I have medium length, thin and older ( goin silver folks) hair. I had been using my Chi flat iron for limp attempts at curls, waves at best. It will tangle if too much hair is attempted to curl. I was in the market for a curling iron when this popped up ony radar. And, on sale. Score. Figured if I didn't like it, I could return it. Until I played around with it, and got a perfect Shirley Temple curl....when I tell you I squealed....I squealed lol. Used it for my NYE look, and it held until the next morning lol.

Best curler ever 5

I really love the super tight perfect curls I can achieve with this styling tool. I've always struggled with a normal curling iron to get the perfect curl. With this it's so simple it does it for you! It's definitely worth the price. I don't usually write reviews so that's saying something.
It works okay 3

First of all, I want to start by saying that I didnt get to finish my whole hair. It ran out of battery and had to stop to charge it again andddd you cant use it while its charging. Besides that it is time consuming. I thought i could use it for when I was in a hurry but no, you have to take your time since you can only put small pieces of hair in it. Now with all of this, it does work and does what it says. You get thight curls (not my favorite) but you brush it out.
I'm getting used to it 4

I got this as a Christmas gift. I have fine, thin hair and it curls it pretty well. However, it is a bit awkward and requires a lot of practice to get used to using it. I anticipate that it will get easier to handle. I need to recharge it more frequently than the handbook mentions but maybe that is because it is taking me a long time to use it.
I love it but have concerns! 3
JuneBugg from Huntsville, AL
I really love this product. I've used it almost every day 2 weeks. It smooths and gives me bouncy curls on the ends. It is very easy to use but be careful to place hair exactly as directed or it will grab and get stuck. That is one of the reasons I give it a 3 out of 5. Another reason is it does not get hot enough for tighter curls. Also, I am concerned that the motor and battery will not last long. Only time will tell.
Love the curls 2

It works and it's easy to use 5

I bought this hair curler after a few weeks of reading reviews. I picked it up at Ulta this afternoon and I can easily say I'm soo pleasantly surprised! I am really bad at styling my own hair - I literally just don't because I'm not good at it. I have long platinum blonde hair and the curls turned out so pretty and bouncy. I didn't realize it would be so easy to use, literally just place your hair in it and click the button. It does take a while because the barrel is on the small side. I feel like you can't have big beach waves with this curler and you have to take lots of little sections of hair to do your whole head - but it's pretty quick. I think it is overpriced and $50-60 would be a better price but I'm happy I purchased :)
I would recommend it if it were cheaper

Yes, our hair got stuck in the first try, but that's because we were dingbats. Once we got the process figured out, this tool is one of our favorite things ever! My twin and I are able to make gorgeous, glamorous, full waves when brushing out the curls made using the lightest setting. The machine does all the work and the curls/waves last all day long. Worth every penny!
I got a DUD. 1

I bought this for my mother for Christmas. As soon as it got delivered to my house I put it in a gift bag. She wanted to play with it the day after Christmas and it wouldn't even charge. I tried a different micro-USB cord and it at meat registered by beeping. It's been charging for over a day and won't even turn on. What a joke.
Love it! 5

I was surprised how well this works. I have fine shoulder length hair and it created great curls that finger toss made wonderful waves that lasted all day.

THis product got hold of my hair and spun it to the scalp. Ripped my hair out. Needed assistance to free hair
Great Product for short/thin hair 4
Holli O. from TN, USA
Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the charge doesn't last long. When it gets to the last bar of charge, it stops working. Thankfully, I'm pretty fast and my hair is thinner these days. I tried to use it on my daughter with thick hair, but it died 3/4 of the way through. I don't recommend for thick hair or long hair.
Great for touch ups 3
Beautyfanatic from Seattle
My daughter got this with the straightener as a set from a big box store. They will be great for touch ups and she plans to keep them at school for after gym class. The straightener doesn't get as hot as she'd like and the charge doesn't last long enough to really make it an every day tool. Still for the price we paid it is worth it just to have a cordless on the go tool.
Works Great! 5

Takes a little time to figure out how you want the curls, but with some practice it is a nifty idea! The curls turn out really nice and they last all day!

Hated it! 1
Nikki from South Carolina
I tried every way I could to get this product to work on my long hair and it just wouldn't. Horrible experience. Even got stuck a few times and knotted my hair and scared me to death thinking my hair was about to be pulled out or burned off. Was close to have my husband take a hammer to it just to get it to release my hair.
Wonderful 5
