Most Helpful Positive Review A years-long search is over at last As an extremely fair ( think Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue in 1.5 Birch, and Fair in IT Cosmetics ) copper brownette with definite yellow ivory undertones and certain sensitivities, finding foundation shades has always been a challenge. Fortunately my skin has been mainly trouble-free for most of my life, so coverage has never been a large issue until about five years ago. When I turned 60, the latent Rosacea inherited from my Celtic ancestors exploded like an invasion of berserkers, mapping my face with blood vessels and blotches. A thoughtless acquaintance once snarked that she knew when I was overheated, because it was "so much fun to watch you turn purple"! It would be less painful if I did not have to venture into public, but my husband and I teach on a volunteer basis, and he is also an artist, and we do the festival curcuit to sell his wares. It is important to be able to interact with--not distract--those we meet. Finding some sort of coverage for my issues has been frustrating to say the least--most products flake, pill, or patch, or are heavy and age-enhancing. Also, a severe allergic reaction to an unknown substance that lasted six months left me scarred and peeling. Talk about ready to capitulate! I don't know why I decided to try one last product, but I resigned myself to expecting no results and chose this First Aid Tinted Moisturizer. If anything, at least it has sunscreen, and I thought it wouldn't hurt me. Well, the first time I applied it ( over bare skin ) I nearly wept--for joy! It went on smoothly ( you need to blend fairly quickly, but the product will permit a bit of building if you wish ), left me with a lovely, believable, non-glittery glow, and covered about 75% of my problems! I touched up one of the worst red zones with a bit more building, and finally achieved about an 85% result. My skin felt moist all day, and three months of use has produced no reactions. I'm no longer ashamed to go out! Thank you, F.A.B.!
Most Helpful Critical Review Nice Addition to Makeup Routine As someone with sensitive, acne and rosacea prone skin, it's awesome to find a tinted moisturizer to finally add to my skin routine. I love that this doesn't break me out and has some sun protection!
The downside on this one is that it's pretty thick and chunky. I actually find it helpful to mix the product in with a little liquid foundation. That helps the product spread more easily for a fuller, more even coverage. It also helps avoid the final result looking too shiny. I like a more matte look that this provides, so a little extra pump of matte foundation really helps balance things out. My only other negative is that the shade range for this product makes me super sad! Twelve shades and nine of them are for light skinned folks. Step up your diversity game, FAB!

I just bought this today & was so excited to use it. I opened it up & put a small amount on the back of my hand & pure oil came out of the bottle. I mixed it up & applied to my face & it does not blend well at all. I bought the color "Light" & it has the worst orange undertone as well. Do not recommend at all! I will stick to my CC cream by It Cosmetics.
Glowy and hydrated 5

This is my holy grail of tinted moisturizers. I have dry 30-year old fair skin and this has such a pretty luminosity and does a nice job hydrating while giving a little bit of coverage.
Watery 2
Sarah from Texas
Even with primer, this goes on really patchy and watery. I also purchased the lightest shade and it's too dark and oxidizes weird. Normally love FAB, but this just isn't it.
Good if you use primer first 4

I have oily skin. This works great if I use a matte primer under it.
Warning for those with sensitive eyes 1

I am shocked that this is labeled as being good for those with sensitive skin. I have sensitive skin, as well as eyes, and this product caused my eyes to water so badly that people thought I was sobbing all day!! I had to remove my makeup and even then, my eyes continued to water. At the end of the day I had giant red rashes around my eyes. It was NOT a good look. I came to find out that one of the main ingredients, Avobenzene, is a known irritant. Now, why they would include this ingredient in an allegedly "allergy tested" product for those with sensitive skin is BEYOND me.

I think they changed the formula because the old one with the pink bottle is way better. This does nothing and is oily. Please bring back the old formula!!!!
Not bad, not great 3

I really wanted to like this. It was nice because it didn't have a strong sunscreen smell, it actually has a really pretty luminous finish and felt really light weight. The only reason I won't be buying this again is because it seems to really fill and exaggerate my pores on my cheeks around my nose, which doesn't usually happen for me. I say it's worth trying if your interested in the product, this was just a dealbreaker for me since other products don't do this to my pores.
Part of my daily routine 5

I purchased this when I went in to purchase the IT CC cream during a sale. I tried IT and didn't love it. The associate had me try this and I fell in love. I use it whenever I'm not doing full coverage and set it with powder to tamper the shine, add a little extra coverage, and make it last the day!
Amazing NATURAL coverage! 4
Elle from Washington
Let me start with if you have oily skin this definitely isn't the product for you, as it will make you shiny.. also if you expect it to work like a foundation you will be disappointed, it is very light and natural coverage that makes your skin luminous. This product offers a light coverage and has a fairly good rating on the ThinkDirty app, meaning the ingredients are less likely to irritate your skin (I can attest to this as I have very sensitive skin) overall 4/5 stars, it gets a little oily throughout the day but it stays, doesn't oxidize like others, easy to blend, and a little goes a long way.
Looks great ALL day! 4
Leah from Pa
Easy to apply and looks great even when I just use my fingers to put it on. I have combo/dry acne prone skin and this made my skin look and feel glowy and even without feeling like I had any makeup on. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because sometimes it needs to be mixed/ shaken a bit. Overall a great product that I will continue to repurchase

Nessa from California
I wanted something lightweight and natural, more for everyday use rather than my full coverage foundation. It was far too luminous for me. I already struggle with oily skin and this made me look more greased up. I also struggled with applying it because it wouldn't stay in place. I could not blend it and it would literally slide off my face. I had to use a powder brush to wipe off the excess foundation that piled up. I only wore it once but I see other people had this problem too so I won't be giving it a second chance.
I love this product my favorite. I'll buy it again and again 5

I have dry sky and a lot of breakouts and this goes on the skin so nicely. Good coverage for virtual work.
Not worth it 2
Nora from Charlotte NC
While there are many problems with this product, my main frustration is that it PILLS SO MUCH, just like your favorite old sweatshirt. I have applied after primer with an ova brush and again with my hands but I can never seem to blend it in.

Looks and feels like a bb cream and color correcta while offers sun protection
High expectations ending in disappointment 1
Alyssa from PA
I really wanted to love this product but it is the worst purchase I have ever made from Ulta especially for the price! I have tried this item out three times thinking maybe I was doing something wrong and every single time my eyes burned soooo bad I couldn't even open them. I didn't put the product on my eyes and it makes my faces so greasy. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Light weight and great hydration 5

This is a repeat buy 4

This is my go to, throw on quick tinted moisturizer for daily wear. It blends easily and quickly, provides sun coverage and doesn't look like I have makeup on. At 57, I find it difficult to use regular foundation as it's too heavy, settles into the skin And generally makes my skin look worse. Tinted moisturizers or BB creams tend to look much better. This is my daily wear go to product.
Burns my eyes 1
Minna from Oak leaf
I don't know why it burns my eyes!! It goes on terrible.
Not the best 1
Luluuuuuuuu from Oak leaf
It made my face very greasy, I don't know if it's because it has sunscreen with it but I look like a dang grease ball. I got the color light and on the package it is very light but when I put it on it was orange.
The best tinted moisturizer! 5
Kay from Connecticut
It's a great, light substitute when you don't feel like putting on a full face of makeup. And 30spf!
Perfect for Summer 5

My absolute favorite summer foundation. The tan is so perfect!
