Most Helpful Positive Review AMAZING!!
This shadows are amazing, you will need a good primer or shadow base to make them pop, they blend like a dream!!
Most Helpful Critical Review Good but be careful
Wore this to NYC for the day wearing third, fourth and fifth shades. Colors needed to be built but bold color payoff wasn't hard to achieve. The shades all blend easily as well. Colors used lasted all day too.
The only two problematic colors in terms of color payoff are the first and last shades, especially the green. Not a bad palette at all. Probably good for beginners who want color variety and allowance to build up and blend easily.
WARNING!!! After my second use I noticed a symbol next to the ingredients list for half the shades: a crossed out eye (next to a symbol of a face and face makeup brush). Some of these shades may not be safe for use around or touching the eye, I assume. After two uses I've experienced not irritation but possible user beware.

I started using the first green color and as soon as I dipped my eyeshadow brush the color fall apart and that was it. I am very dissapointed bc I like this brand and it didn't live up to my exceptions.
Great colors for fall season

I love this eyeshadow pallet. I highly recommend it.

I wanted to love these shadows. The colors really looked inviting! Unfortunately, they weren't! Very low pigment and dusty! Try harder NYX this one didn't compare.

These are bold colors! They really deliver!

The picture doesn't do these colors justice!

I purchased this palette last summer; it has 12 months of shelf life left before it begins to expire. I have not enjoyed creating looks with this palette as much as I thought I would. I cannot get myself to love it. Many ppl have this palette (or the full sized one) in their collection and I assumed it was a staple because of the "vivid" colors, but I was soooo wrong. These shadows are difficult to work with they apply sheer, patchy, and stain my eyelids. Shadow 1 applies orange not yellow, 2-4 + 5 & 6 look identical and stain the skin. Shadows 2-4 are not supposed to be applied around the eye area, but as blushes... I just want to hit pan on this palette before I decide on tossing it away. I do not recommend it to anyone and I hope NYX fixes their shadow formula.
There are better bright palettes out there
IndieEnthusiast2020 from Milwaukee, WI
The colors are actually a bit lighter and more vivid in person than in the pictures. However, you really need to build the shades up to get good color pay-off for bold looks. Shadows are also a bit difficult to blend. I just feel like there are other bright palettes out there with the same shades but much better quality.
On a side note, you need to be careful with the coral and pink shades. If you don't build them up to be bright enough you can end up looking like your eyes are just irritated.

I'm not the best at eyeshadow but I bought this to take my first step into being more experimental and I absolutely love it! Definitely recommend this for beginners
Great for beginners
Riana from Virginia
It wasn't really that pigmented , but I think if your just learning to do colorful eyeshadow looks you can definitely work with it. I've tried to build up the colors but it still doesn't show up fully. I use the pink sometimes at a blush!
You cannot use this alone
JuneJ255 from Arlington, TX
With only a few colors, and poorly pigmented eyeshadows, I recommend you do not use this alone. However, I do think that it is good for the price. I do recommend that you get another palette in addition to this one.
Brightens up the night
Rachie from NY
The colors are so bright, and When I first bought the palette I had trouble getting the colors to show up, but the color payoff isn't too bad if you use your fingers rather than a brush (this usually means for me at least that it's better for pops of color rather than blending.) I don't recommend applying the shadows wet either unless you don't mind staining.
More sheer pigmentation, not fully opaque.
AshleyB. from Flint, Mi
This palette is perfect for sheer, watercolor style eye looks. The coral shade is the worst of the bunch, it has almost zero pigmentation. I was not able to build any of the shades to full opacity, even over primer and with several layers. Both a packing brush and fingers yielded the same result. Swatch photo is enclosed, swatches done over primer.

It amazes me how amazing this petite palette is! It is very pigmented, and is long-lasting! Would purchase again once i hit the pan!
Too much fall out.
Taty from Wenatchee
I like it. Colors are bright. It has pigment when u tap them in, but product dusts off when i blend the shadow.
Rainey from Charleston, SC
Recieved this palette as a gift from a friend. Never used NYX shadows before, but I love their lippies and other products so I figured thos wouldn't disappoint and I was right! I'm a neutral girl, so the colors in this palette were perfect. To finish off my look I used the NYX two in on lippie color "you got issues".
I definitely recommend this palette.
Muddy colors, broken product
Lee from Michigan
I'm not sure if it's because I'm inexperienced or if I over blended the colors, but each time I've used this palette the colors blended together completely and made the look real muddy. It isn't necessarily an unattractive look, but it's not what I'm going for. (It was also disappointing opening the packaging and seeing that the brown shade was completely broken. I understand, given the circumstances, but it was still pretty upsetting.)
no pigment on medium to dark skin
LFA from south Carolina
if you are medium to dark skin do not waste your money on this it will not show up on your skin i would recommend the Juvia's place zulu or warrior 3 instead
Decent, not great
Joejoe from NJ, USA
This is an okay palette. All the shades are nice and bright. They blend easily and are true to color. However, overall the shades lack pigmentation and do not last long. I'd recommend this palette to someone who wants to experiment with color without investing too much.

I got this pallet specifically for the green shade and boy was I disappointed. It took forever to build up the shadow on the eyes and it was super pastel and not neon or bright at all. I was using this for a halloween look so I was able to use that green shade as a soft contour. The other colors are just as bad.
Well.. it depends
Rhy :p from America
I got this at Ulta one time because I wanted a cheap random palette. It's pretty good I really love the colors! It's not the BesT quality obviously but it's pretty good for the price!!
My hand mini color palette all in one awesomenes

I love colors and this was it, and it was affordable

I have dark eyelids and usually need to use a white primer. However this shows up wonderfully and vividly
Potential but misleading
Gabrielle S. from Richmond,VA
The pink was probably the only one with pay off. All of them are dusty and you have to really dig into the product in order to bring it to the color opacity. I tried it dry and with a wet brush and the only pay off I got was wetting my brush with the pink shade...others just don't do.
Kotacakesxoxo from New Hampshire
I bought this because i wanted to try the red ! Ohhhh it pops so pretty and was exactly what i was looking for
AshleyBryant from MI
This Nyx Ultimate Edit (brights) palette caught my eye because of the bold sorbet orange shade. This is an all matte palette with 6 shades. Unfortunately, every shade lacks in pigmentation and opacity. Finger swatches are sheer, applications with various brushes over primer are sheer. The purple shade is the most pigmented. The orange was the most disappointing. If you are going for a sheer, watercolor-esque look, these are excellent for that.
Swatches were done over primer with Mac natural shading and blending brushes. I applied several layers and could not achieve full opacity.
