However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a product that does what it says it does. I have very oily hair and I find that even after blow drying it falls flat and limp. This product helps me build it back up. I generally towel dry my hair, lift up some sections, spray underneath, brush it through and then blow dry. It definitely gives my hair volume. Sometimes a bit too much, and I have to brush it back down. It doesn't leave my hair sticky like hair spray or mousse. The smell is not bad but it definitely doesn't smell like roses. Today was the first day I used it on dry hair. It doesn't seem to work quite as well as it does on damp hair, not sure why. Warning: if you have coarse or curly hair I would stay away from this one. It definitely makes your hair a little coarse in order to give it some volume and it would probably make coarse hair unmanageable. Overall I'm thoroughly impressed and have added this in as part of my morning routine. I've also found that using this product I'm touching my hair a lot less, which means I can go a day in between shampoos. I just spray some dry shampoo onion necessary (I've used Dove for ages now) and go. I layered this over the dry shampoo today and maybe because the shampoo already gives my hair body I didn't notice this doing much. But I have noticed that my hair often looks better on Day 2 anyway!Most Helpful Critical Reviewit's sorta okaywell I bought this product by going off the reviews I read and it being a miracle worker and the best stuff out there for fine, thin, flat hair. it definitely didn't wow me the first time I used it, it just seemed to weigh my hair down. this product did make my hair feel thicker, but it definitely didn't give me that exploding volume like it says it does. You don't need to use a lot at a time. I just some spray towards my roots and then blow dry it while using a large round brush.
