I don't have an issue with scent unless it is one that bothers another person. This has a nice clean attractive scent maybe a little like an orchid. Since it has a hefty little price tag too I had to do the math. If this last me 3 months and I think it will then it cost about $20 a month. I can spend that much on coffee in a week so I think it passes my do the math test. I'm pretty sold on it.Most Helpful Critical ReviewSmells sooo badI had received a deluxe sample size of this from an Ulta goodie bag. I tried it that night after washing my face and not only did it smell so bad it made my skin very very dry, almost immediately. So I waited ten minutes and put my normal moisturizer on. I did this for a couple of nights (despite the horrible smell,) and my skin was dry, my pores just clogged up and I broke out. I don't have extremely sensitive skin either. I usually have oily/normal skin. Not sure if I just received another bad sample from Ulta or this product just isn't made for everyone. I'm leaning towards it being an old sample because I had a similar experience with another sample from Ulta. I have a wardrobe of serums that I cycle everyday. I always use 3-4 serums at a time before my final moisturizer. Everyone keeps talking about these new "Essences" and even though they don't market this as an Essence- it performs like one for me. I can use it first- and then my other 4 serums. It does not come out of the bottle like water, but for me it surely absorbs like water. That way you can easily layer things on top. I was breaking out a lot and after I started using this my face cleared up. sometimes I add a couple drops off either tea tree oil or frankincense and put it on. I love it!! The extra on my hands I've been wiping on my arms. I have KP, so I actually have a habit of wiping the excess of my face creams on the back of my arms. My arms are so soft now from this serum. There are still bumps, but it's so smooth now and doesn't look red and blotchy. After a month of using this consistently every night before my moisturizer I have seen a dramatic difference. My skin holds the moisture all day, feels soft and this doesn't irritate! Lightly scented, but it fades quickly. I live in Florida so the weather is very hot and humid but can get a little cold during the winter months, usually January and February.
