I Have purchased L'Oreal mascaras in the past and favored them for drugstore mascaras. More recently I had been buying Perversion mascara, but decided to switch it up and try low budget. I did not like the looks of the plastic brush which was more like a comb, but decided to try it after reading the rave reviews. It was a mascara that would be great for someone who has thick lashes already and is looking for a mascara that will add great length and decent separation. If you are looking for curl, stay away. This definitely didn't add curl but my lashes are naturally long with a bit of curl. I'm blonde though, so I have a lot of lashes, which are long but very fine and invisible without mascara. I pretty much wear mascara daily so I don't look washed out. Personally, the mascara left my lashes looking long but spiky. I prefer a fuller look with great separation while adding volume. Of course I can't stand clumping or flaking, which basically means I want it all. This mascara is neither natural or over the top (like Miss Manga) so I can see the appeal, but I prefer The look of Revlon Lash potion for recently tested drugstore brands. I added a photo, with Telescopic on the right side by my bangs and the Revlon brand on the left. Disclaimer: I took off all other makeup and used no eyelash curler. Please don't judge! The brush itself looks more like a comb and not very fluffy, and I had a difficult time trying to evenly apply product to my lashes. It does hold a curl pretty well but it can smudge if you sweat. In general, I think a better mascara is the L'Oréal sky high mascara. It has a very similar wand that isn't difficult to get in or out of the container and the formula is much smoother!
