I am happy I chose this dryer! I had a different brand but high end dryer from a major beauty supply shop that lasted me 7 years. I was overwhelmed when that one broke and I needed to find a replacement. There are so many on the market now! Since I know the difference in quality of hair appliances DOES make the hair healthier and save time, I decided to go a step higher in the hairdryer options this time. I initially bought a T3. Not a bad dryer but I didn't see the $200 difference. I read that brand's reviews to find it had durability and warranty issues so I returned it. On to the next option... The 'salon' I go to is a high end beauty school. They not only sell Babyliss appliances but all the students are taught with their entry level model dryer. I saw this one on special with much better reviews so I gave it a try. I picked this one over their other model with a Ferrari motor, no joke! A new Ulta store has a tester section for hair appliances in their store and compared to even more expensive dryers, it seems the most powerful and easy to use of Ulta's dryer choices. All I can say is I am pleased! Money well spent and my hair looks great in top drytime speed, even a couple days after initially styling. And I can forgo the 'secondary' appliance styling--that is the real test! I hope this one lives up to its durability because it is a great dryer worth every single penny. One note is that the diffusers could fit a bit more snug. Not an issue to affect the quality but I am rough on my equipment and like to store mine in the drawer ready for use and it might come off or loosen more than I'd like.
I have very naturally curly hair and like to wear my hair curly. I own a Babyliss Pro Porcelain Ceramic dryer about 5 years old that I love. I wanted to try an upgrade, so I got this, along with the diffuser they recommend. The hair dryer itself is nice. It is VERY powerful, in fact, it was too much for my curls even with a diffuser and on a lower heat/blow setting. It left lots of small knots/tangles even on the lowest setting. I tried to use the dryer 4 times with different hair products and it still turned out the same- super puffy at the root and lots of frizzy/tangled curls. The diffuser prongs are also very short and the cup of the diffuser is small (and I have a lot of hair) so I went back to my old universal Conair diffuser on my Babyliss Pro. I took both of them back for a full refund. I love Babyliss products, but unless you are blowing your thick hair out straight I cannot recommend this for everyday, curly-girl styling.

The controls are in the wrong place. While using by it you change the settings on accident.

I got this at another retailer for a steal. I think it was an online return. Recognizing the savings, I grabbed it and have been using for about 3 years. It dries hair in record time, however, my hair ends up knotted, snarly and frizzy at the ends! :(

I'm conflicted. I like it, but it didn't last as long as I feel it should have. I had a Salono dryer before this which lasted for six years.

Every year, I wonder if it's going to be the year it stops working as well or craps out on me. It's as good as it was the day I got it and still going strong. By now, I've lost the attachments and the wire on the back does come loose (I truly don't take care of it and throw it in a bin under my sink). It's the best hair dryer. It's so fast and doesn't dry out your hair. Obsessed.

LOVE this blow dryer! My hot tools blow dryer broke, so I spent hours reading reviews on different hair dryers. I have long, thick, wavy hair and this dryer works amazing and quick! It leaves my hair very soft and less frizzy

I originally bought a T3 AirLuxe and it wasn't doing it for me. I have fine, straight hair that is a blonde-highlighted, short bob. I bought this dryer and immediately it was great. The nozzle attachment is thinner and directs more air. The dryer does not fry my hair and adds volume. It's incredible with some leave in volume products. I travel with this full sized dryer - it's that great.

Some of the other reviews had me skeptical but after trying this dryer myself, I absolutely love it. It dries more quickly than other dryers I've tried. It doesn't fry my hair. It's great quality! There ia also a cool setting and not just a cool shot button.

I purchased this 5 years ago, then it broke. I re-purchased it because it dries my curly hair straight so quickly and is lightweight. The only attachment I wish it came with is a diffuser for my curls.

Great hair dryer. Varying speeds are nice.

My hairdresser recommended this hairdryer to me and I am so glad I took her advice. The power is great and it's quieter than I expected. Definitely the best hairdryer I have used.

Have only used it twice so far but it seems to dry my thick wavy coarse hair pretty fast.

I have short grey hair. It quickly dries the hair without damage and leaves it shiny. My old version lasted twenty years. Hopefully i get the same from this one

I have thin short hair and took less time to dry then the other blow dryer. I love this product.
I got my first "big girl job" and celebrated by buying this hair dryer in 2014. It's truly still going strong. I saw another review that said they purchased it in 2016 and I have to agree. Is it in peak performance? Probably not, but still an amazing dryer. Same complaint - the back does fall off occasionally (this started after years of having it).

I couldn't find anywhere on the box about weight. Much too heavy for someone with arthritis. Should disclose weight.

It works really well to dry my thick straight hair. It as shine and keeps it smooth. Only drawback is that it is a little heavy.

I bought this in 2016 and it is now 2022 and the blow dryer is still working! I have never had a hair styling tool last this long. I will say its not at its peak performance but still does what it needs to do. Definitely a great investment. Lightweight. My only complaint is that the back protective piece came out when I was traveling with it but if taken good care of, I feel like this can last a very long time.

I have very fine and thin hair so, anything I do, as far as coloring and hi-lites make my hair very dry. For years I've had issues with my hair being really dry and it would always break at the crown. I've tried hair masks, leave in conditioners, conditioners for color treated hair, etc. I've tried everything. Mostly those products made my hair weighed down and greasy looking. It never occurred to me that my hair dryer could be the culprit. I would never spend nearly $100 for a hair dryer. I decided to give it a go and I'm so glad that I did, My hair is no longer dry, it actually looks good just blow drying it. I've always used a ceramic curling iron, too. I wash my hair about every four days because of how easy it dries out so it took a couple of weeks to begin to see results but now my hair is actually shiny and soft. It has volume because it isn't being held down by conditioner. I really can't believe the difference. I'm very happy with this dryer and I think everyone would be happy with it. You just have to give it a little time. Your hair takes some time when making changes so give it a chance. About 2-3 weeks into it you'll begin to notice a positive change. It's wonderful! My hair has never looked and felt like this before. I almost didn't buy it. I'm so glad that I did. 5 STARS, BABY!!

What I love about this hairdryer is the selection of temperatures and the power of the dryer. I can now blow my hair dry is less time and the medium heat setting is perfect for anyone with dry hair, which mine is. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quick blowout at low, medium or high heat!!

What a difference a hairdryer makes. I explained to my stylist that I had awful frizz every day, no matter the weather. She recommended this dryer, as she has the same one. Not only, does it eliminate frizz, but it cut my drying time to a third of what it was. I'm so pleased with this dryer.

I just bought this and have used it for a week now. I feel as though it dries my hair out a bit, making it more coarse. It does dry the hair quickly though!

This thing is great!! Half the dry time, less frizz and lots of power. Highly recommend!!
