I had two functions to attend, so I could not afford for the polish to get messed up. So, I figured, "what the heck; I'll give the RapidDry a try." I painted my nails (a beautiful wine color by OPI), and I applied a coat of the RapidDry. I blew on my nails for a few minutes, picked up my purse carefully, and zoomed out the door. Headed out of the driveway and grabbed my phone to do a quick check regarding driving directions, forgetting that my nails were wet. When I realized, I cringed as I peeked at my nails. ALL 10 were still PERFECTLY POLISHED: dry with a beautiful shine!Most Helpful Critical ReviewUnpractical polishThis product does dry quickly as it claims, however it quickly becomes gooey and unpractical. The only way to get it on is to apply a huge glob and spread it, which causes bubbles. It helps dry the nail polish underneath, and it dries to a sheer shiny gloss. It is meant to be used with regular nail lacquer, and not gel polish for my nail salon. And oh my goodness I am THRILLED! I used to swear by gel because traditional polish smudges every time, but this top coat is a game changer. I applied this after 1 coat of OPI base and 2 layers of OPI Infinite Shine polish. I babied my nails for like 25 minutes after, but I felt them and they were completely dry. Amazing for regular polish. I'm hooked! I highly recommend waiting about 2-5 minutes after applying the colored polish to minimize the amount that gets on the top coat brush, but otherwise no complaints here.
