After getting hooked on the Volupt Shampoo and Conditioner, I thought I'd give the Potion 9 a try. I have super fine and very long straight red hair, but I think this product is more suited for those with a natural curl. I have not seen any difference in my hair and I have tried applying to both wet and dry hair. I was looking for something to fill my split ends and give me a less "frizzed" look but I didn't see those results. Maybe a little softer to the touch, but nothing noticeable enough to warrant the price point. It wouldn't come out of the push pump very well. The color surprised me. I put it in my damp hair. My hair seemed to dry faster which was good. My ends are still dry feeling. That's where I concentrated with the product. My hair is somewhat soft; but it would be softer with a conditioner before hand which I didn't do today. Luckily; it hasn't made my scalp itch which is super sensitive. It works great with Biolage shampoo. It's not sucky; greasy, or makes your dry hair look oily. Someone said it tamed her frizz? It somewhat did. I still got little frizz. Not as bad but still there.
