He says it has a cooling effect, and it allows the razor to glide over your skin. I weighed it and it is 3.5 oz, there's no way that the packaging is only 0.5 oz! I don't know whose fault this is, Ulta's or brands! Mine has a sticker with a price on it which I have never seen on a product I ordered from Ulta. Other than this, my husband really liked it, the product itself is 5 stars! The only tricky part is it doesn't foam much and he is not used to not having foam in his shave creams. I've been using it for years, and I've tried a couple shaving soaps for the cold months just to get warm lather on my face. 3 out of 4 I've tried cause redness on my face that will linger for hours unless I clean my face with an astringent. So something in them bothers my face. JB is just the ticket, the razor glides thru the beard and no nicks and no redness. Quick rinse, dry, and JB double duty, and I'm off.
