I bought this exact model of scissors 6 years ago from Ulta in 2016 and they were great. They're still great because I only use them to do a full trim every 3-4 months and for cutting out single strand knots in-between the trims. I decided to get another pair from the same Ulta and they are horrific. Too rough. Too dull. Too much drag. I'm not sure if the quality used to be good but went down, was always bad and I just got lucky the first go around, if they're typically good quality but I got unlucky this time, or if they're just inconsistent and what you get is a complete crapshoot.
