I never invested in a higher end shampoo/conditioner, but my stylist saw my hair and strongly recommended this brand. Paired with the shampoo, this conditioner is the perfect addition. It does have a strong scent, but I love it (it is minty and organic smelling)! The menthol/cooling feeling on the scalp leaves me feeling extremely clean, but also hydrated and like actual repairing is happening on my color treated hair. I do not see myself purchasing/using another brand of hair care in the future, I will always stick with Pureology!Most Helpful Critical ReviewNot the pure Pureology!I had previously purchased Pureology products from my salon with fantastic results. Until using the product from Ulta, I didn't know that Loreal has purchased the brand and has now diluted the product with water and alcohol based ingredients. Not at all the same quality of product that I have purchased in the past - surprised that the company can continue to market this as a high-end product and charge the same price when they have completely changed the ingredients.
