I had recently gotten over a terrible case of breakouts, and I thought this might help with the dull skin that seems to come up after clearing my skin from the spots, plus the mild discoloration I have from premature age spots. I read reviews before purchasing, and went ahead and said let's do this! I tried it, and though I didn't notice a difference in my skin tone really it's still a good primer for allowing the application of your foundation to go on smoother and last longer. I was just hoping the purple tone was going to brighten up my dull yellowish brown undertones though, and it just seemed a bit lackluster on that account. I just felt like it blended in and didn't leave even the slightest lavender tone. I know for some this is a good thing, but if it's supposed to be a lavender primer I thought it might do what it says and create a bit of a shade...even a little. But no. All in all, it's a good primer for a primer, but I wouldn't just go on the fact that it's a "lavender primer" if that's a selling point for you.
