I apply this product with a damp beauty blender and it is perfect. I used to use the matte + poreless foundation but stopped using it and switched to Revlon 24hr ColorStay. The Revlon foundation was great in the summer, but TERRIBLE for my dry winter skin. The dewy + smooth foundation keeps my skin feeling hydrated all day long. It doesn't flake off like other foundations with dry skin.
I'm a brown girl, I'm not the darkest and I'm not the lightest of us brown girl's. We come in MANY different SHADES of BROWN. The finish on this foundation is FLAWLESS !!!! The price is reasonable. I shouldn't have to buy TWO different shades to mix and try to get my PERFECT SHADE!!!! And even its still not a perfect match. When I do use this foundation I have to do a lot of tweaking just to get it to look OK. You been More SHADES in this FOUNDATION, The concealer, The contour, and the finishing powder. I love your products but its 2017 and there's no reason why the drugstore brand's aren't up to speed with this millennium. Get up to speed.

I have tried hundreds of foundations (mostly high end) and NONE have even come close to this. Not Armani, Haus Labs, NARS, Too Faced, Bobbi Brown. This is so much better. I have combo skin but my biggest issue with foundation is that it always accentuates my dry patches and ends up looking super cakey. This looks so smooth every single time. It covers my pores super well, it looks dewy but not greasy and doesnt make me break out. I dont use a primer, just the vanicream daily facial moisterizer. I wore it in vegas for 12 hours and it held up well without primer. I do wish it had a little more coverage but it is buildable, I just hate putting too much foundation on. MAYBELLINE DO NOT EVER DISCONTINUE THIS FOUNDATION I WILL SPIRAL. I have never been able to wear foundation until this product because it always looked so bad. I can count on this every time.

it has great coverage and finish but all it takes is anything touching your face to rub off and leave patches so highly do NOT recommend

I don't know about the lighter shades, but the darker dewy shades are much more orange compared to the matte ones. My 355 coconut shade made me extremely orange when it's more neutral in the matte version. It also is pretty cakey and comes off easily.

So first off- I'm not sure what's going on with the color range photos on here and why so many shades look like pure orange liquid in a bottle, but they do NOT look like that in person! Ive been using this Dewy-Smooth foundation for about 8+ years now and its the most perfect drug store foundation ive ever used for my normal-dry ivory/olive-toned skin. In the summer months i wear "125 nude-beige", (im not sure if they reformulated/repackaged but no numbers are on the photos/bottles on Ulta's i website). Other times of year when im not as tan i wear the darker "Ivory" shade and they're buildable and match to my skin so well! I like a more natural & glowy coverage so if you're looking for super full coverage, choose the matte version! As always- If you're not doing proper skincare before any foundation you use- you will come across more issues with application & longevity. Im in the Southern heat and have still never had issues with this foundation, but always use setting soray and occaaional powder on extra humid days. I'm super bummed i cannot find this in my local Target anymore, for some reason they're only selling the matte version, which is way too drying and cakey looking on my skin 😑

I'm not one to wear heavy makeup but this foundatiom is great! Very natural, light weight & seeps in my skin perfectly. I am a toffee sade in the spring/summer, and this is bomb! 10/10 for sure for brown skin grils.

Yes I would buy this foundation again. I have used the fit and dewy and never experienced breakouts or drying. I have dry skin so that is a big plus for me! It doesnt crease or flake, an overall good full coveragefoundation.

I wouldnt say im translucent but Im a cool pale color, "Shell" in Estee Lauder. I can even rock the lightest shade in IT Cosmetics CC cream with no issues, but PORCELAIN seemed like my match & i will be returning it for being too orange, i wont try another color because thats as pale as it goes for my undertone :(

I used the Ulta color match to try to find the right shade. The one that arrived was way too dark for me. When I opened it, the bottle type is terrible and very messy. After application, it looked cakey and accentuates textured skin. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I got the ivory foundation. It is much darker in person than it is in the picture. It turned my skin orange.

I've been using this for years. Goes on well and hide my imperfections!

I have been using shade 235 pure beige for over ten years. It was my perfect shade nothing else would compare. So I run out of it and purchase a new bottle and it's 4 shades darker than the old. I have purchased 5 bottles of this from different stores hoping that I got a bad one or old one but no they are all like that. Then after an extensive search there is NOT ONE shade that matches me. They are all orange and yellow no true neutrals. This was a super bad business move on Maybellines part. I've seen other reviews saying the same thing. Please bring back the old shades I'll pay extra.

This is my current favorite foundation. I've tried both drug store and high end and this one really delivers. It lasts so long while also staying dewy. It doesn't wipe off on clothes etc.

It truly glides on my skin and sits on my skin perfectly! It really does fit me but I was lucky enough to have an ulta associate help me. It is my exact skin tone! Better than the DIOR flawless whatever I have is. That says a lot! Also buildable!

i decided try this new foundation but this was a horrible. the foundation does not come out easily you have to shake the bottle out to get stuff to come out and its not iut easy and its a lot of drips to come out. then the foundation doesnt apply on well its makes my facr cakey i had to reapply foundation 3 times before going on out becuz it kept coming off my face. just tried it for one day and will return to store to get my money back
Jenna from NY
I really like this foundation. I do wish it had a pump but I always apply to the back of my hand first anyway so it's not really a problem. I wish it was a tad bit dewier but with the right skin prep and setting spray it looks amazing. Very skin like light coverage but I build it up to medium. Can be cakey so takes a bit to learn how to prep and set skin.

Feels good and smells good but the "porcelain" shade is way too dark.

I like the feeling of this Foundation. It goes on smooth and i like the moisturizer in it.

This is probably the best foundation I have bought! Better then expensive ones.

This foundation does not blend or smooth properly. I have sensitive, combo skin. Post clinical acne treatment, I've been trying to find a good foundation. This one gave me breakouts within hours and seperated immediately. It's truly the worst.
