The color of it is very rich and black, but that is the only good thing about it. I used it to tightline my upper lash line, and for the rest of the day it is literally smudging off onto my undereye area. I have rarely used any products in my life that give 'raccoon eyes.'I even tried putting UDPP (eye shadow primer) under my eyes and a lot of eyeshadow to try and keep it in place, but NOTHING helps. Really disappointing because I tend to like Maybelline products a lot. This eyeliner is terrible, terrible, terrible. I don't know how other people wear their eyeliner, but I've always lined my upper lashes only and never had a problem with it for everyday use. Love that's is smudgy enough to fill in my lashes to give a fuller look without looking obvious. The few times I have lined my lower lids, this does go on lightly and smudges, but you can go over it again to get a darker look. It stays for me just fine even though I have oily skin. I even asked my makeup coordinator to use this for my wedding because her professional stuff didn't hold. Bonus that this doesn't have any nasty chemicals in it (PFOS).
