okay, so first thing is first about these lippies, they come in pearl (which has shimmers), creme, and matte. i've only bought the creme because thats my personal cup of tea! I own Pink In The Afternoon, Love that Pink, Rose Velvet, Demure, Berry Rich, and Coralberry. I read many reviews before buying any of these to see if they would be good for my skintone, I know my lips very well and what will look good on and these don't dissapoint. I know alot of people complain about color but you can't expect for all 72 colors to look good on you. for example, if youre a redhead buying Love that Pink expect to look like a clown.
I have never fallen in love with lipsticks before, i have like 6 or 7 MAC lipsticks that my makeup buddy has given me and I like them I just didnt go crazy over them, some of them are too soft and fall over :( I really only like the luster ones from MAC but they are kind of sheer. That being said Revlon makes better lipsticks for my budget and for my taste! all of the ones I own except for demure are very pigmented :) they are all so nice to apply too! I love love love the texture of these lippies and I love pulling out my sleek black and gold tubes!!! These have a very satisfying click when you close them and they are not so heavy in your purse as MAC lipsticks are. These are between 5ish and 7ish dollars where ive found them and most of the time there are revlon coupons and bogo sales so you really have nothing to lose in trying these out. I've never felt so ladylike and classic until I got these and I love that some of the shades have been around for more than half a century. This has convinced me to never buy an expensive lippie again. If you want to know more about each shade i've reviewed all of the ones I own. Thank you so much Revlon for making such a gem! i always exfoliate my lips at night and in the morning and then i put on a light coat of burts bees while i do my makeup and swipe on my lipstick before i go out the door. These are already very light on the lips (not heavy at all) but I just really like to have balm on. these dont really need it however)
forgot to add that these got VERY low toxicity ratings so they are great for your lips!!!!
After spending more than I should have on Mac lipsticks, I decided to try a more affordable lipstick. I tried a light purple, a dark purple, and a nudey brown. The nude color is wonderful and one of my go to lipsticks, gorgeous color and lasts a while. However, the light and dark colors were both streaky on my lips and very sheer. I had to swipe at least four times to get an even application. I'm hoping it's just those colors and I'm willing to give other colors the benefit of the doubt.

This is the best drugstore lipstick I've tried. Lipstick still looks good even after being worn for a while. I prefer this to the mac cream formula. Buildable.

I was really surprised at how lovely this color was considering that I bought it online and had not even seen it in the store. It's really a very pretty color and has become one of my favorites. Plus the price is pretty good.

Two words: Rum. Raisin. Looks beautiful on my light skin but I can see this looking good on a variety of skin tones.

I would buy this lipstick again since I was matching the color from a Revlon lipstick I had used up. I think the color looks good with my fair skin and gray hair.

I have a million of these lipsticks and they are all so creamy and pigmented

Not a review of the actual lipstick: but I thought I should mention that the one I ordered arrived damaged (bullet totally broken in two). A replacement was quickly sent--which ALSO arrived broken. They need to check the entire batch!

Not a big fan of this lipstick. It goes on super light and you can barely see it.

An inexpensive lipstick that just works. It's moisturizing, doesn't gunk up, doesn't disintegrate every where but the wrinkles on your lips, it does naturally disappear evenly over time. Kiss proof for soft kisses. Wide color selection.
Down side- can't they put the tag on the plastic wrap that gets removed.
I have a bunch of high end lipsticks I love, but there is something about grabbing a cheap lipstick in a new color. No other drug store brand has got my love like this specific lipstick.

very hydrating, never drying. I have several colors and this is my go to lipstick range

Love the shade of this lipstick! I've been looking for a color like this forever and have tried multiple expensive brands and all the colors were different when I put them on.

So currently I have the revlon lipsticks in the shades Rose Velvet, Cherries In the Snow and Vampire Love. So far the vampire love is my fav and so is cherries in the snow and I also love rose velvet but the weird thing is that the shade rose velvet fades so quickly and looks off on my lips but the rest of the shades don't fade away but I'll try more shades next. Overall I'll give the lipstick a 8.5/10

I really wasn't sure if Mauvy Night would look right on me, as my skin tone is warm and I'm far from pale, yet to my surprise it actually looks great. Also it's my very first time trying a Revlon lipstick. So onto the product itself... It's a gorgeous dark berry/plum tinted mauve shade with a slightly glossy cream finish. In the tube, the color does look a bit darker than how it looks once on your lips, so worth bearing that in mind. Lasting power is excellent, the only time I have to reapply is after a meal, no issues with transfer onto glasses or cups when I sip water throughout the day. It's not entirely shimmer-free, there is just a hint of it, and it's also quite matte, meaning I have to use a good lip balm before applying, to prevent my lips feeling like they're dried out. But all in all - price point especially, this is fantastic and has inspired me to try out some more Revlon lipsticks. -> My 'Ulta Beauty Top 7 must-have list' (My 7 favorite beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Ulta) < - < 1. I already own this lipstick in multiple shades. It is stunning! Has a balm-like texture, nice and hydrating, and gives a great wash of color without being too "intense." I typically don't like how lipstick makes me look but this SLAYS! 10/10!

This is very subtle though it was alittle darker. Also doesn't stay on long

This color is so pretty. Not too pink, not too nude. I think it would look good on any skin tone.

Pink in the Afternoon is the perfect pink shade for my skin tone. It looks good both in-person and during virtual meetings. I'm very pale and my skin is cool toned. It feels really nice on my lips. It's shiny without being too shiny. It's not transfer proof, but I don't need it to be.

Smooth and a great shade love it.I will buy again

Shade 415 "pink in the afternoon" is my favorite, I've been using it for years. Nice shade of salmon pink, perfect for spring. The best dupe for Audrey Hepburn's lipstick in "breakfast at Tiffany's" so if that's what brought you here, buy it!
Susan from Chesterfield, MO
I could not tell what the color looked like it was too pale with my skin.
